Ha, Johnny Quest, funny meme showing Race Bannon shooting a rifle from behind cover: “Teaching kids the difference between cover and concealment since 1964”. OH-6/Hughes 500, my favorite helo since I can remember reading books about the Hunter-Killer Team operations during the Vietnam War, and Magnum P.I.

No guilt. I know which models I built and which ones I didn't, and if anyone asks, I am quick to distinguish between the two.

Hi Max, good video! In 1963 regards to do the contract on the Chrysler Turbine Car, you stated that GM paid a quarter of a million dollars for the making of the molds and the required tooling. Did you mean to say; Chrysler Corporation paid a quarter of a million dollars for the making of the molds and the required tooling? Please respond. Dave...

The other difference between the Steerman and then N3N-3 is the N3N-3 has 4 airlerons and the Steerman has 2 thats why the N3N-3 has an extra struts on the wings

If you go to IPMS USA's website, you can find out where your nearest chapter is and or their lists of upcoming shows. The IPMS Nationals are being held in Wisconsin this year I believe, if you are close to that state.

Try using a square piece of wood with “trowel” look you desire carved into the square end and stamp the design into relatively soft putty…not sure if the putty will stick to wood though…maybe soak in H2O prior to using…shooting from the hip here.

Question is the steadman kit same as the revell
@maxbrandt6Күн бұрын
That Linderberg kit of the Stearman PT-17 is the same one they've been producing since the 1950s and it really sucks fetid eggs on moldy toast! Terrible parts fit, huge empty cockpit, the seats are too far back, flash everywhere and no extra parts to make Russell Casse's crop duster. A vastly better offering of the PT-17 are the Revell kits.

And of course Stearman became Boeing Wichita, which has become Spirit.

Apparently, the Stearman was to have a bigger roll in the film ID. It was to crash into the lazer, destroying the alien ship. But they realised it was a bit of a push to have it in the end battle.

I think I remember (someone correct me) from the "novelization" -- which would have been based on an earlier version if the script -- that ol' Russell had a missile strapped to the side of his 'duster. In the movie he somehow was able to fly an F-18. I also read that, thank to CGI, the movie battle scene had more F-18s in it than actually existed at the time.
