I have 2000 rounds through an X. 150 of 124gr NATO. The rest has been 115 grain mystery range ammo. Not one single failure. I bought another X I liked it so much . I’m waiting to see if SAR announces something new at Shot Show. If not, I’m buying a SOCOM.

What inch pounds do you use on picatinny rails to gun and also rings and bases torque?

Too many people don't understand this is a fighting gun ! It is made to NATO standards! If you put panty weight ammo in it your asking for failure plus the shell casings will rain back on you ! This is built for 124 grain and plus P ! Run the proper ammunition and never have a problem !

We owe it to the animal and ourselves to be as accurate and ethical as possible. If that's putting a scope on a lever action, then so be it. Great review!

I honestly think they give 3 mags with the g3c to make up for the fact that the G2c has a way cooler raised indicator with a red dot letting you know it's loaded. The peephole indicator on the g3c is useless to me unless I had my serious reading glasses on to see a bullet in the chamber. I have both these guns and they are both FLAWLESS even with hollow points. You can't go wrong with either. When I shoot these two the triggers are not a factor since I adjust to any trigger on any gun I shoot.

I like the videos, just found this page today. Just got myself a saint Victor .308 and I wanted some sort of optic that's cheap and can allow me to fire out to 2-300 yards at least. I heard monstrum had a Vader red dot series but I can't find it for sale.

Thanks. This was a good short review. However, I would have liked a longer look at your target results, to see any difference in left vs. right (.38 spl vs. .357 mag) or top vs. bottom (single vs. double action) results. Overall though, you gave a good short overview for someone considering a purchase.

if you worry about the leather not completely covering the trigger then dont chamber a round and practice racking the slide as you pull the pistol out of the holster, it can be done in a second with practice.

I installed the Game Changer Pro to my Walther PPQ 22 LR while watching your video. I don't really have a reason to put it on the gun,other than being a gadget guy and I like how it looks. I'm hoping to hit the range later today and then see if it makes a difference.

I don't like the Henry sights. I guess in an emergency you could use the front sight as an axe.A Marlin front sight with a hood doesn't stick up as far as the Henry axe sight.

Would this be a good gun to start with? Someone who is on a budget and first time gun owner?
@defensedad
@defensedad 7 ай бұрын
Depends on the person I would say. It has been a reliable firearm for me. I would not reccomend it for someone with limited hand strength for example. It has a pretty stout recoil spring so not easy for someone to rack if they have limited strength in their hands.

my g2 doesnt like steel case ammo. i noticed the load ramp is a lil narrower. could that be the reason? Also would a g3c barrel fit a g2??

Three years later from the posting of this vid.😊 I just got myself a SR45. The previous owner only shot it 5 times. I shot it the day after I gave it a good cleaning and oiling. Shot both mags with no problem. Only had a problem with pulling the slide back once. Might had caught to round wrong or it was not sitting right in the mag. Reloaded one more mag and did not have that same issue. Was fun shooting just got to get more ammo.

These holsters are not built for a spacific gun. You put in your gun make and model, and they suggest a size for it. They gave me two different sizes for my FN reflex. I just chose one at random, really. I just got it yesterday. The quality on it is great. However, the rear part of the trigger guard is exposed, and i can see the back of the trigger itself. I dont really think this will be an issue because you should draw with your finger out of the trigger guard anyway. But i can see how this could freak people out. I dont really see any scenario where something could get in there and pull the trigger on reholstering. But I suppose it is possible. Im breaking it in per the instructions now. I'll wear it for a while and see how it goes.

Don't like Taurus pistols and all their recalls from 1997-2024 is one big reason why. Had this been S&W they would be out of business. Other than Remington, no other firearm maker comes close all the recalls Taurus had.

It’s not a good holster for that weapon specifically it covers my hellcat pro completely same with my sig p365x it’s the trigger guard on your weapon it’s huge sure you can find something better for that weapon specifically

First, remove the darn orange banner with Defense Dad logo. It's distracting, annoying, to say the least, and then you put the guns next to each other for comparison right in the middle of the banner. Ever occurred to you that can viewers can see them clearly because it's blurry and distracting? Second, I owned both guns and to compare them both is like comparing a Toyota Tercel vs. a Toyota Camry. Sure both car can run and has 4 wheels, a brake, and a steering wheel. Are they in the same category?

I am not recoil sensitive. I can handle bigger more powerful guns but the idea of cutting loose with a 12 gauge in my house in the middle of the night does not set well with me. , There are issues with that like blowing out your eardrums. Over penetration. killing someone who is not the intruder and blowing massive holes in your house. A 22 may or may not kill, but the idea is not necessarily to kill but to stop the threat. When you start firing at an intruder, I would hope that the intruder would at least retreat and with good shot placement, it will kill too. Shot placement is everything. Even with larger guns. I know of people who survived hits from a 9mm with poor shot placement. It is not what you have but how you use it.

i love those people that say to use a 12g shotgun for home defense, clearly they never shot a 12g IN a home with NO ear protection because if they ever did, it would be the last time they ever did it. Even shooting a 45 or even a 9mm in your home is going to be LOUD and your ears ARE going to ring for several minutes.

The P938 is perfect pocket carry but it is a bit snappy. When you get a laser on it, you can acquire the target the second you take it out. Unbeatable IMO.
