The best I can say is it has potential. Being more truthful, it does have potential to be a good first person Project Zomboid.... But thats because its still so empty that theres basically nothing to it, so it is nothing but potential. I hope that the game develops more and becomes less empty. When i tried it out today for the first time in a year, i did notice some improvement, but nothing noteworthy. Its missing mechanica that are obviously meant to be integral, such as actual infections.

I love third person, and I love the look of this...but each time I've tried it I just dont know what to do. I suppose I should watch more videos on this ?

I love dayz but the cheating is just unplayable. I cant believe its allowed to be sold in the US. Cheaters on official kill the game so we go to community servers where the cheaters just own the server and spawn in whatever they want and ban whoever beats them.

6 weeks is too short imo. Im not opposed to wipes but if i can only play an hour or 2 maybe twice a week if im lucky then 6 weeks is too short. I was about to install but glad i didn't push that button yet. I hope they create a way for casual pve players to enjoy the game to because i really wanted to play until i heard this

The map is pretty and interesting as well as being smaller it gives more action but it lacks content overall it doesn't have half the weapons in the game and doesn't necessarily offer anything new in content.

I think they knocked it out of the park myself but that’s just me! I love the survival aspect just as much as the pvp sometimes more!

No skill base match making so you get put with level 1000’s with over 48,000 kills and yes they have veterans in this game and a lot of them. Also we the cross hairs they took them away. Other then that it’s fun to play for a day or two on the weekends with buddy’s

Not buying it. Im on PC and the modding community servers are 20 times better than this. This update made all Vanilla clothing and backpacks have smaller inventory storage. I havent seen a single thing that is an improvement or something interesting. Now you have to micromanage your inventory even more. Never liked winter maps. You spend 60% of your time starting fires and making torches. You dont even get to enjoy the game. Sure lets play a walking simulator and make fires 🔥🔥🔥. No thanks. This is a $4.99 map.

Good list, you hit all the right games. Especially Project Zomboid, THE zombie game, ahead of anything else, and not just Zombie games. It is simply the best game out there period.

For console sure. But as a PC player, i think i will hold for now till they expand on it a bit more or there is a sale. Mainly because this is expensive for a DLC that is basically a copy-paste. Map ? They just took arma heightmap, design, even towns etc. but made it SMALLER than the original. Then, the unfinished textures and general lack of smaller POI's. Sure we have new buildings, but we also have a bunch of the old ones copy and pasted into the map. The winter survival aspect is nothing new for PC, we have had that on Namalsk for a while now. Namalsk also has lore to it, it has EVR storms, late game stuff like lantia, it has the sub and bering outpost over on the ice sheets justifying the struggle ot get there...while here, there is nothing really other than the bunker which i assume is similar to livonia. And they asking 28$ for that, when cars still fly with higher player counts, AI sucks, urban areas look like a game from 15 years ago, melee combat... Dont get me wrong, i like this game, and the map seems like it could be very...climatic, but as it stands imo its not worth the price tag when Namalsk is free, and its better by miles, even through its gotten a bit stale after being out for so long.

Arma Reforger easier to understand than squad? Reforger is a clunky mess in my opinion. Everytime i jump on the game i have no idea whats going on. Squad is much more straight forward experience.

For $26.99 they remove all the gameplay elements from the vanilla maps AND has less terrain than the map it was copy and pasted from. What do you get instead? Snow and empty ice sheets... sigh im still gonna buy it because its new...
