I hate how they ruined twig because it could be tutored. Surely there was another way to make it less consistent. Twigsphere was such a good staple of druid without being TOO OP. If any deck can get 2 specific cards from their deck, of course they can do something nuts

Suspicious Alchemist makes the bot loose a turn. Most even shamans in wild legend now are actually bots. I believe this is the end of HS unless blizzard solve it. Im sort of in awe how this not more addressed. I think for me it makes the game almost unplayable.

Im happy u speak up about this. I been a hearthstone addict since Ungoro. I hit triple legend this month, Im a fairly good player. Last few months I started suspecting that the people Im facing are not real players. And I mean the Majority! Especially in wild. So I started seeing patterns. For example, players don’t say hello. Even when they are completely destroyed they don’t concede. I can have a like a full board and they have nothing and still they keep playing like a single one drop every turn. This is not real player behaviour and its sad because Im loosing interest fast. I hate single player mode and this is really just another single player mode. I also stoped buying the preorders because of this. HS is dying and I cant keep playing this way.

Gut even shaman. Screw that deck. Right now I'm currently in mid platinum, and about 30-40% of the decks I face are even shaman decks. Before watching this video I didn't think it could've been bots. But now I have a strong feeling that there's thousands and thousands of bot decks scattered throughout ranked play...

Anecdotal report: I came back to the game a week before Badlands and made a half-hearted effort to climb with Even Plague DK across the month; the final iteration of my deck had 56 games played in high Plat and all of Diamond. Tracker roughly says that I ran into about 15 pirate rogues, 11 even shamans, 5 aggro priests, and surprisingly also 4 aggro druids and a mill druid that were all very clearly bots. So about 2/3rds of my games yesterday in the last 12 hours of the season. Definitely enough Shamans to make winning inconsistent and un-fun besides.

Also at least for me more than sometimes the enemy names in hearthstone are like predetermined communication, a fluid gpt or such controlling the algorithm? Also like since 2018 when I noticed. 😅

I'm pretty much stuck around diamond 5 in wild. I don't play meta decks, I play things that are fun and stupid, but then get slotted against usually 13 bots before I see 1 real player, then back to bots again. It's exhausting.

one thing about the decktracker stats, you generally might want a decktracker for more complex decks... I wouldnt need one for old school face hunter, quest hunter (the spell shooting one) also probably doesnt need it, but for my janky control shaman? I want it, for combo decks and control decks I think you want it more. Warlock rn also has the barrels of sludge and tracking how many are at the bottom of the deck is nice to know. I think a lot of people playing draw/outcast focused demonhunters would want the decktracker, hence the higher userate of dh on its stats. but yeah, shaman having such a difference makes bots seem likely, especially seeing bot opponents when watching dane play wild.

Last Month I got back to HS and climbed to Legend in Wild. I thought I escaped the bot because surely, at rank 400~ there must be people right? No, it's all exclusively Even Shaman bot, one just didn't know wtf to do because he got the upgraded Shaman HP

Bots using pirate rogue and totem shaman have been such a problem for so long, I was actually able to get into Legend by just creating a deck designed to exploit bot decks. With bots, the only way I lose is if I get a bad mulligan, but the ironic downside is that when I actually go up against the rare human player, I've essentially gimped myself. Even human players that use those decks don't deviate from them very much. All in all, it's something you can adapt to, but it absolutely robs the game of any fun where you can create an entertaining experience, because you're essentially just beating your head against a RNG in the hopes that you can make it to turn 5/6, at which point the odds of losing are slim. Also, every time I know I'm up against a bot (you develop an eye for it), I report them, for all the good it does because if Blizz was serious about bot removal, it wouldn't be such an all encompassing problem.

From D5 to legend 500 75% of players are even shaman playing each other all day long. after you get to legend there is no point playing basically, because unless you grind like an animal, you are going get stuck in the ocean of bots that play all day long with 50% winrate basically

I think the “gutting” bot decks isn’t an optimal solution but damn it’d be fun to watch an arms race between botters and hearthstone devs.

How about an abstract solution: Identify card lists that are used in botting accounts, and just don't allow those lists to rank up/earn rewards. So all bots would theoretically be stuck at bronze 10. Obviously you'd shut people out from playing pirate rogue or even shaman (competetively), but I think it's worth experimenting to see what effects make botting undesirable, even if it has an adverse effect on the player base.

I waited until expansion day to hit legend in wild this month. I got to legend at 2500. Switched over to standard for a bit then came back. All I played against from 3k to 2k legend was even shaman and pirate rogue. To the point that it was 70% of my games

Gutting the most popular bot deck isn't going to do anything as there will always be a most-easily-bottable deck. I look forward the numbers ~2 months from now to see how much the death of afk mercs has raised the constructed bot population.

The most annoying thing, is that some decks are way too easy to play for the power level. Kingsbane has no counter with my slow control deck. I am not going to play a 5 mana tech card, if I am loosing on turn 4.

You know this game has turned into a shitpile if bots can get legend.

Lol, I dont even wanna ladder anymore after I got legend 'cause of bots. I Used to get to rank 500-100 regularly but now its just unfun.

this game is about 95% net deck, and the little skill involved you can steal wins but its not going to matter that much. id guess the best players in the world will probably only win around 5% more games because of skill

As an EU Wild player, in the range between 2500 and 1000 I can confirm that almost every other match I'm against an Even Shaman. And I would say out of these Even Shamans only about 1/5 is an actual player. I run a pretty slow control deck and when I've cleared their stuff, they can't get back into the game and I slowly develop to kill them over like 2 or 3 turns. They have literally no way to win, zero card draw and they don't concede. It's always the same.

Yes it's true. I've mostly encountered Death knight bots by now, a bit frustrating when there are no people around. 🙂

I play QL Druid 50% of the time without decktracker in legend, and there might be similar people around which are just playing Even Shaman. I'm not saying that all of the shamans are not bots, I'm saying that there might be Shamans that play without decktracker some amount of time and that could warp some of the stats. Anyways that won't change the fact that there is a huge botting problem
