After watching the video in 0.5x speed Thaddius successfully: - Cheated 44 mana out for a total mana cost of 1. This was spread across 15 cards/copies of cards - 18 mana of that was 'Full blown evil' across 6 casts (technically 7 but the 7th cast was on an empty board so I won't count it) This, however, is all okay because Thaddius was "nerfed" All of this started from a mana cheat combo within a mana cheat card. As a 3-mana sacrificial summoner sacrificed his 0 mana Imprisoned horror to summon a 10 mana card from his deck on turn 6.

It's a pretty popular deck in China, people call it "happy lock". The treachery combo existed very long ago, but the Thaddius "nerf" brought it back to life. This video is the exact reason why we call it "happy lock". All 3 core cards are actually quite old Fel Reaver: 5 Mana 8/8 when your opponent plays a card, burn 3 cards from top of deck The other demon: 3 Mana 3/6, whenever this takes damage discard a card Treachery: 3 Mana spell, give a minion to your opponent Thaddeus is the new guy. 11/11 Taunt for 10 Mana, reduces the cost of all odd-cost cards by 4 (nerfed from "To 0"). Then flips to even cost cards the next turn, then back The combo: Play both of the negative effect minions, hand them to the player, then trigger their effects often enough to burn your entire deck and discard your entire hand. GLORIOUS

Thaddius was actually "Nerfed" from "to 1". While it stopped the degenerate "play half a dozen 10-costs in a single turn", it hugely buffed the capability to do miracle stuff like this. The Warlock played over a dozen 3-cost cards and didn't pay a single Mana for most of them, which wasn't possible with the old Thaddius.

I think I figured it out later, what they were referring to. There's a combo you could play where you draw the whole deck, then Tony, then play Curse of Agonies to shuffle in fatigue spells. If my hand were full, the Curse of Agony spells would just fizzle. So they were a little off, but had the right idea

​@@ElKartoffelbreii Well, in that scenario all agonies are getting burned so he is only taking 1 fatigue and then he had removal for Tony in hand so he'd get his deck back leaving his opponent no answers. But I doubt the opponent would've wasted that combo on a full hand at this level.

Here's the deck for anyone confused about his this us even possible: The idea is that he fills the opponents cards and uses his deck to make him draw cards, burning them, then he puts Howlfiend, a card which discards a cards from your hand when it takes damage, and buffs it with Power Overwhelmed for it to not die, then he uses Treachery to give it to the opponent, now after he removes the opponent's deck, he uses Full Blown Evil to damage the Howlfiend multiple times causing it to discard his entire hand removing all cards.

​​@@janhendrik8859he cheats out 44 mana using a 1 mana cheat code combo which is split across 18 minions with another 18 spent on full blown evils also decreased to 0 by the cheat code, and he uses the ability of odd turns having even numbered mana costing cards cost 4 less to make more stuff free, and that's why you see Howlfiend as not free, he's an odd numbered mana card with a card that costs 1 less for each damage you take this game in your turn which you can see on the board on turns 1-3, for example one of his cards is "Take 5 Damage, Gain 5 Armor", that reduces his costing card to 4, then he uses the odd-even turn to make the 4 costing card which is now even (was previously 9, but was reduced to 4 by the card I just mentioned which he played), and with even mana costing cards being 4 less on odd turns, that perfectly becomes 0, making it free.
