The middle of October last year we had a beautiful 50* coldsnap, and I went to the woods. On one oak I collected 35+ pounds of Chicken. No bugs, no fiber, just robust and perfect. Every time I cut a stream of water stained my hoodie, lol. Thanks for sharing.

My 66 tree farmer has roughly 1500 hrs on out of body rebuild, i dont get any white smoke, but when pullin hard the black looks like a train. Good idea to replace that where can i find a fresh one? Im working my way through all the fluids getting them changed. I have learned a ton for your videos keep em coming!

That was great ! I am just wondering how did you know what kind of rebuild kit to order? I have a 1975 Grove 18 ton crane and my swing brake master cylinder looks almost exactly like the one in your video so I said I gotta watch this!😀🇨🇦

Great video, love that hone, might see if i can find one somewhere as seems better than the stone type. Was going to be doing the same to the master cylinder on my Loadstar as it uses the exact same cylinder, mine was locked up solid and took quite some work to take apart. alas it turns out seal kits are currently unavailable, even though you can buy a new cylinder... Go figure. In the end i found a new genuine navistar one for a decent price... And its still US made (i bought a cheap chinese made one first with intention of temp fitting it while I rebuilt the original... It turned up full of machining swarf, so i returned it)

Great old skidder!I'm from Georgia and when I was in high school in the 70s,they cut about 4000 acres of pine across the highway from my Mom and Dads' house. The timber company had a couple of IH S-8 skidders,a Frankin with the Detroit and an old Super M Farmall with skidder tires to skid logs. From my freshmen year until my senior I was awoken every morning to those skidders going to work.Eventually they got the job done and replanted. Now in 2023 they are harvesting the same tract again. Not the same company of course. The Franklins and the IH's were a beast back then.

The image at three oh nine of a orange Hyundai wheel loader looks like doosan orange 🍊. But hay both l think far east products. The Hyunsan. Always love wheel loaders So simply a job scoop load & repeat,l actually loaded myself with a 1980's cat 950 Tree length spruce headed for Chetwynd & fort saint john on a 1985 Mack Superliner V8 ,6 axle pony up jeep pole logger and , Jake stalled the thing middle of the night loaded found Mexican overdrive ( neutral ) after hitting the key to restart & she ran backwards after l continued to decent a steep hill known as Dunvegan south of Fairview Alberta and finally got it running right revved it up found Road gear and delivered the load will never forget that & others may have bailed but I kept calm and fixed the situation but a lethal heavy truck thing that happens all over the world with the old mechanical Diesel's.

It happened...it is being delivered tomorrow. I will put up a video in the next week. Thank you for the helpful tips, and things to look for on the skidder. I will be the official owner of a 1966 tree farmer tomorrow. I will hopefully get it posted before I lose momentum for my current video, as it is doing better then any other video I have posted on a firewood processor I made. Whoohooo!
