Treefarmer Skidder Wet Snow Logging

Had time to grab a couple of hitches. Chainsaw broke, cameras broke, but the Treefarmer skidder didn't!

Cold temps coming -makes skidding easier thats for sure. The low snow season is nice though - first time ive ever wanted low snow lol.

I do, there just isn't enough snow, we got a little and then lost it - now getting a bit more now. I also built a new shop, got promoted at work and have done a bunch of other things...KZbin doesn't pay the bills...

Man what y’all are calling warm days I’d still be hugging and be one with either the wood heater or fireplace and if flames from a fireplace could truly tan a person by the time y’alls winter would be over I’d be the guy that everybody would think had spent it in Cozumel or somewhere else like that. I love what you do Louie and would be doing the same right now but broke my ankle and slowed me uo quite a bit but will be back at by end of winter Taking it easy cuz dont want to start over on recovery Slipped getting off my snowmobile in the garage on slick concrete Sled ride was awesome and then did that Dumn luck

Nice video, I have a C4B with a Gearmatic 8A winch. I am wondering about your winch drive system, I see that the winch has a clutch pack that you disengage to freewheel, but is there also another clutch before the winch that you disengage when you stop winching and hold position? thanks

Good video. Watching the size trees your cutting, you should check out a stihl 462c. Would be perfect saw. Lots of power and as light as a 60cc saw with a 72cc engine.
