Unless forced to due to circumstances of work, I will choose to live elsewhere whereby housing is cheaper. I owned a double storey linked town house and a couple of apartments that cost less than USD500K in total. Their size range from 861sq ft to 1600sqft. I will never be able to afford to own all this in Europe, America, Australia, let alone Hong Kong.

I would be okay with this indoor space if there was a balcony ie outdoor space. I cannot imagine how claustrophobic this place is during lockdown downs.

I really appreciate the work You invested in that apartment ! I've been considering purchasing a " tiny house " . The " DREAM KILLER " and I are retired . However She is a hoarder ( in a big way ) ! I believe She could pile five thousand square feet of stuff into five hundred square feet ! ( and , promptly forget what was there ) !

Whilst I appreciate the designer explaining in detail her reasons for designing the apartment, I find something not quite right in some of the colour choices & decor. Some of the wall colour choices do not give the serene colour balance usually seen in Japandi. For me, the son’s room is the most visually calm, with no unsettling colour palette choices. I’m a fan a bright modern art, but the rest of the daughter’s room seems at odds with this in the choice of colours. I feel the apartment, whilst carefully designed, has been given the “tried too hard to be a designer with my own twist” treatment. Sorry, not usually leaving a negative comment, but this apartment just seems to be confused at what it is trying to be.

Meh.. it’s supposed to be simple but she could not resist kitsch wall decor..additionally there are zero plants except of a flower in the kitchen.. it’s lacking life

Fair point! Simplicity can easily get overshadowed by decorative choices, and plants definitely bring a sense of life and freshness to any space. Maybe adding some greenery could strike a better balance and make it feel more vibrant!
