Upon hearing that a fox was given a medicated honey sandwich, officer Tommy Whistlebottom of K9 Deployment expressed disapproval. "We take our narcotic detection duties quite seriously," he said. "This is no way to train a fox for the critical task of drug-sniffing at Customs." Area man Tony Fox cheerfully offered him a glass of water before Mr Whistlebottom returned to work. "We'll see how well he detects drugs himself," Mr Fox said. "That water came from my back garden, and was specially treated by a fox marking its territory."

26:42 ♥ The foxes had unusually good manners this time. Not once did they "contaminate" their water supply! It was a suspenseful wait for the third fox to show up.

The young foxes in this family have pretty big eyes and you can easily see from their faces that they are related. It's nice that the fox with the mange-infected tail also played along. Every time I see a fox with a diseased tail, I have the feeling that the fox is in pain when some or all of its fur is gone.

This just in. A battle broke out in an area man's garden, and sporadic fighting continued through the night. International Red Cross workers told reporters that at one moment, a combatant appeared to be dead, but it was a ploy leading to another blitz attack. The conflict included a surprise tail-in-the-face maneuver. No serious injuries were reported. At press time, neighbors said that the adversaries were extremely cute.
