@@TomSarracino No problem, thank you for the music. I believe Tom that you working many years, so I've searched a bit and I really like your songs + guitar playing that is bluesy but also virtuosic. I know little about the music business, but I know it's unfair sometimes, but I'm happy when I come across such quality songs as yours. Yes some people know about your band in SE Europe. I'll say hello of course. even here I promise publicly Tom that I will look for that page where they wrote about your band in other languages (not English), a very long text ... South Eastern Europe is strange sometimes in a positive sense when it comes to art, because a lot of rock music lovers appreciate musicians and bands that are not super popular, that is considered "real music" and "real musicians". I tried to explain what some people's taste is like here, Of course, quality is crucial. More seriously, some of your songs are in my humble opinion on the level of legendary rock songs, they can stand side by side with some of the best ever. I wish you all the best, that you continue to make great music that means a lot to true connoisseurs, it makes people happy, it also heals listeners and that is what real art can do. Music is a miracle. Thanks and don't mind the long comment. Once again, all the best!❤💯👍

This is a faster easier way to cut wings for our slope gliders. It has only one pivot point and one template per wing. Look for something called “Feather Cut” for extra info on cutting constant cord style wings.

Why not just put both contour guides (flipped) on one piece of foam. Looks like you could be getting twice the wing per foam. Lots of waste. Am I wrong?
@TomSarracino4 жыл бұрын
You are not wrong... but the wire angles toward the tip centerline you see drawn on the foam block. Its nice to have some room to work with. It also gets the cuts higher above the table so I am not banging the wire handle on it as I cut. And it is a luxury to have big tall, fat wing saddles afterwards. Keeps the cores straighter and more protection. If you were into production mode then it might be nice to set up your cutting table to do tighter cuts saving foam but since there is no money in that I don't waste my time. I could buy the thinner 2"inch white foam blocks but I prefer the 3"inch or 4"inch thicknesses. However you can see behind on the left I have a lot of Dow Blue 2"inch foam. The scenic white foam come in 24'X12" blocks I get at the Whistle Stop here in Pasadena California. The Dow Blue foam I get in 4'X8'foot panels at Foam Sales in Burbank. I like the 3"inch thickness in that medium.
@charlesmilbourn68614 жыл бұрын
What tipe of foam are you using.. And where did you get it. Thanks
@TomSarracino4 жыл бұрын
The white foam is from Whistle Stop in Pasadena, CA. They sell it in 12"X24" blocks at about twenty bucks. It is used for making scenes on HO railroads. I like the 3" or 4"inch thick blocks, That thickness makes the cutting easy. The large wing saddles you are left with keep the wing cores straighter and add more protection while you are banging around the shop building a plane.The Dow Blue foam is from Foam Sales in Burbank, CA. The Blue DOW foam I have to buy in large 4'X8' foot panels and its gonna be around a hundred bucks for that. The white foam 50"inch cores I cut end up a half oz lighter than the denser Blue DOW foam.
