Collector called my employer issued phone and I answered it because I have too for emergency. I was told there was a civil suit and if I wanted to know more I was transferred to a paralegal. That’s when I confirmed my identity to find out why I’m being sued. I was told it’s for a 19 yo cc debt. And if I didn’t pay I’ll be sued. I advise to sue because the sol passed in California. I was told I signed a tolling agreement. Is this a scare tactic or a legitimate claim by the collector?

Hey John, I’m not sure if you look back at these but you had recommended solo suite and I decided to use them. I am stupid when it comes to all this stuff. When I went on it only gave me the choice for the 247.00 plan at the end, so I’m not exactly sure what I did so I paid it. I then opted for a waiver application. I thought since I paid for the big plan I thought they were handling everything. Because I had received a email saying they were sending to the lawyer for review then an email that it passed review and to just sit back and keep an eye out for any thing from the court. I then received a letter from the lawyer suing me called application for entry of default so I tried to contact solo suit by chat and was not successful so sent email. I decided to contact the court to see if they received answer, they had not. So I started looking through my phone to see if I downloaded it when I paid the 247.00 . Thank God I had because I’m not tech savvy and not having any clue. But I found it because things disappeared, my emails I received from solo suit and they credited me back 217.00 but gave no explanation as to why or what happened. But Thank God I had an extra 10 days to answer before I went into default. Just thought I would see what your thoughts are about this? Thank you Shelley 😢

Hi @solo happy i found your video, collector suing me for $1k i want to sue them for harrassment also. Can I go to the court physically and file against them or can I do it via mail? would this be a counter sue? can you explain for me and the benefit of others. Im sure other people have been harrassed and would like to know how to deal with it . Thanks in advance

I don’t think you need Solo Suit if you know it’s a debt you owe. Don’t wait until it gets to a point of being sued. Explain to them your financial situation (not giving them any information like employer, bank accounts, etc) and negotiate a settlement. If you are so broke you couldn’t even purchase some of Solo Suit’s documents to respond to a lawsuit (if you let it get that far) , a bankruptcy is likely in your future.

If people are in debt what makes y’all think they have money to get help from solo? So y’all offer a payment plan?
