I was scared the first day I had a dog, we had dogs growing up but I never was the main person to take care of them, I use to have a black lab, her name was Frosty and because I like Christian Rap, I gave her a rap alias T-Frost, the only thing I ever really struggled with was getting her into the tub, I had to either take her to the vet, or take her to my grandpa's, the first day I tried to bathe her, she jumped out of the tub and shook the water all over me, like the movie Beethoven, it was hilarious. the sad story about Frosty, was my dad and stepmom found her on the streets, someone abused her, she was scared of me and my dad at first, but when she found out how we are, she warmed up to us, I couldn't yell at first to her go get your toy, I'd throw a pineapple down the hall, sometimes I'd do the fake throw and she'd still be down the hall while having it in my hand, but she pranked me back once in a while, she'd bark at me like she had to go to the bathroom, once I time I opened the door, she stuck her head out and then came back in, another time she walked down the steps and then back up, I'd crack up when I'd talk to her and she'd either look at me like yup yup yup, or give me what is wrong with you look? I sadly had health problems and came into financial issues that I had to give her away, but a new family with kids got to get joy out of her like I did for about 4 years. I'll always miss her, I wouldn't mind getting either a Pitbull, Doodle, Golden Retriever, Collie (my grandparents use to have one) or the most challenging breed ever Husky.

After your video I found a bottle of 500 10mg of Cetirizine for $12 so I'm going to give that a try as per your recommendation. My hope being that the Cetirizine works a little bit better than the diphenhydramine and I can administer it to her maybe once every other day to control her allergies. Appreciate what you do.

Hello doctor . A friend of mine was told by her vet to give her very large dog 3 benadryl tablets in the morning and 3 at night for itching . I am concerned this might be too much for the dog 🐕? I told her that 2 tablets should be enough . Ive noticed after the dog takes it a scoop full of wet dog food , the dog becomes grouchy . My main question is , are 3 benadryl tablets too much for even a large dog ?

My dog was spayed for a long time. I notice a lump in her nipple took her to the vet. Next thing surgery to remove and biopsy mass. Just two day after 8 days after surgery. It came back as breast cancer stage 3 supposedly aggressive!! I have been crying for two straight day. She is 9 years old, 8 pds yorkie mix & get her teeth clean ever 6 mths. Well my puppy just keeps drinking water and doesn't know her limit so I have no choice but to put her pull up for the time being and I have a bigger dog so having issues with rotating because the puppy will drink a whole entire bowl of water and pee all around the house. Since I cut down on her water though there's been less potty inside.

Yeah this is great if you have a job that lets you sit at home 24/7. Wish we’d talk about what’s realistic. My wife and I split our shifts but there’s still about 4-5 hours the puppy has to be in the crate while we are both at work during the day. Constant access to water simply is not feasible nor is it realistic for the majority of the population. The issue with these foods is that the dogs and cats lose far too much muscle mass. They have a pretty miserable low activity life due to it. They also don't take to its flavour, especially if they were eating high quality foods from Orijen or Acana.

Yes, I take my 10 year old Basset in for bloodwork, urine and stool a few times a year and ultrasounds a few times a year and physical for sure once a year.. plus a few extra times if I'm doing chiropractic.

Did these guys not read the fda reports. A large majority of the dogs diagnosed with DCM who were fed on a grain free diet came back with very low levels of taurine in their blood. I can’t speak to 4healths packaging prior to the fda report, but now their packaging advertises their grain free dog kibble with “Taurine fortified for a healthy heart”. 😂

Seems like you cannot feed your dog anything . You are told make sure it is non grain , non GMO , , no corn , no preservatives. Now being told that a non grain diet can cause heart disease. Unbelievable
