The Kaiser should have kept Germany neutral like Switzerland. Just focused on its economy, with strong defensive military. Germany lacks the geography and natural resources to wage war.

I completely agrew that the allies were the aggressors in the Great War. The Kaiser tried many times to stop the war from starting, he managed to get the Czar to demobilize 2 or 3 times. The Kaiser was not the evil war mongering monster that churchill and wilson made him out to be. Shame on them both.

i think it's a bit of a shame the germans actually surrendered, there's a part of me that wants to read the accounts of red army soldiers who witnessed the reich's last generals pick up rifles themselves because literally everyone below them in the chain of command had died
