just re down load lanchbox on you'r pc then reinstall it on the hd i did move the games over and del the old one

Emulation has always been about the tech for me. I loved seeing games or programs run on things they where never designed to run that thing (doom on an ATM oh yeah). When N64 emulation came out and it ran and looked better than the n64 was amazing along with PS1 emulation. i never has a ps1 but used to borrow games from friends and run them direct off the cd on my pc at higher rez was so cool. And it run them well. Xbox OG was an amazing emulation console as well. so that was fun to mess with. Then the last 10 years or so prices have skyrocketed. This is what happens when things stop being manufactured and people like us want to rekindle past experiences. Also look at the price of classic cars that are popular. People grow up and can now afford it and then the prices skyrocket. Cheers for the video

Let me give you some quick information. I will share the information as it is similar to what I answered. Currently, everything except the lunch box has been updated. Don't touch the hyperspin file. I don't know the exact reason, but there are times when the program doesn't work. In my case, I had an additional 12 terabytes, so I organized the originals and backups... and I had this experience. Error 0x0000142 occurred while updating rpcs3 and solved with vc redistx64 file. There are currently no other cases.

My 5-year-old was very bored at home. I was looking for something for him to play with, and I played a game he enjoyed as a child, and he was very happy. However, when I ran the game on a minicomputer, it did not fit the game's demanding specifications, so I replaced the computer and used an emulator. Because I lead a busy life, I don't have time to play games. I am trying to spend time with my child little by little. The reason I use an emulator is for financial reasons and also because of my childhood memories, so I thought about it and bought it. However, I had a lot of trouble because there were a lot of games that didn't work.

Great video, Bruv!!! I do ALL three: I buy retro games (physical), I buy digital games (from Steam/Epic store) & I download romsets for emulators. Yes, pricing drives SOME of my decision, but NOT always. If somethings a "fair" price, I'll pony up. But, make no mistake - I'm not even REMOTELY comin off $300.00 for Street Fighter Zero 3 (for Saturn). Ridiculous!!! I'm also into ODE replacement. Saroo is running up on EVERYBODY now, in terms of pricing. I have Fenrir, but if/when cheats get enabled - Saroo is going to be a top (if not THE top?) contender for romset loading/import bypass. Saroo also loads games slightly faster than the competition!!! Another reason I emulate is screen resolution & quality of life enhancements. Games like Akumajou Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku (otherwise affectionately known in the west as Symphony Of The Night for PS1 - Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight for Saturn) have gotten a lot of traction for the "engrish" (English) translation & transparencies restored. You can burn a patched version, but I like running it from my Fenrir. I also like how Dolphin's enhancements make mundane games look almost "better" than SOME modern games. Cheats are ALSO built in!!! Anywhoo. Great video, dude. I appreciate your perspective on the other side of the pond. In 'Merica (USA), retro gaming is kinda picking up steam. I don't believe MOST gamers are satisfied with the current state AND developers are charging more money for a standard build. $70.00 use to come with a season pass. That, and I was just getting fed up with the state of modern gaming and wanted to go back to games that were just pure fun with no paid DLC or battle passes - and came out (mostly!) filly working! You're not wrong on the hardware front. It's my best friend's 50th next week. We used to love playing Kick Off 2 on his Amiga back in the day, so I bought him an Amiga 600 (£171), a Gotek Drive to replace the floppy and play games from USB (£42), 2 X retro joysticks (£22), and finally a SCART2HDMI converter (£40). I hope he likes it! 😂 I'm jealous of you finding and Atari STE in someones trash! I had that growing up. My computers/consoles were: ZX Spectrum 48K + > Atari 520 STE > Amiga 500+ > PS1 > PS2 > N64 > Gamecube > 360 > Xbox One > Xbox One X /PS4 Pro > XSX / PS5. Also had a custome gaming PC running along side those from early 1990 (loved late 90s/early 00s PC gaming!). Usually had a trash spec until the last few years (got a 4070 at the moment).

Have you ever tried to get a trackball or spinners to work with Kinhank 5in1? I have tried but still not having any luck.

Updating the PS3 auto works just fine on Launchbox, but same program wont update automatically in Retrobat, so if you want to update it in Retrobat think youre gonna have to do it manually folks! 🤷‍♂️....

I've updated Xenia Camary , used patches for Gears Of War 2 & 3 but they are about the only games that dont want to work on my setup, either on Retrobat or Launchbox? I've got a 32mb Blackview MP100 that runs awesome & has no problem playing other PS3/ PC/ Xbox 360 games, but even after updating Xenia Canary and using same patches as you guys i'm getting message 'GRAPHICS DEVICE LOST (PROBABLY DUE TO AN INTERNAL ERROR) after the intro at the start of game... i'll be amazed if these are the only games that dont want to know AND the newest GOW plays!! Lol!! Anyone know if theres another patch or i need to change settings/ configs to get these to play as can't work out why these 2 games don't seem to want to work!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Ok, so as i thought ... something stupid, so i'm gonna share it as the only reason i remembered is i had a Retro System Raspberry Pi with ES/ Retroarch to start with.... 1) you boot up the console , go into whatever config files you have to, the computer recognises the controllers, you map them & they both work for menus, the computer & front ends recognise them & yet they dont work in the game... WTF?? I remembered having to PUSH HOME BUTTON AND SOUTH (GREEN A) BUTTON TO MANUALLY 'ACTIVATE' CONTROLLERS ON THE PI, USUALLY BECAUSE THEY LOST CONNECTIVITY ON BLUETOOTH ... Well thats what happened here... different front ends need different 'ports' so you need to make use of the 'HOME' and A buttons to change connectivity at times... also, Retrobat needs a slighlty different configuration from Launchbox... Go figure? Hope this helps anyone else having a problem!! 🤷‍♂️

Hi mate just been watching few of your videos, I bought the Ugreen Kinhank drive a fair few months ago now only just actually used it in my PC and to be fair not even touched the surface but I assume even if mines the older version it will have issues you have highlighted. Just out of curiosity as someone who is not tech savvy at all do you or do you know anyone who would take payment to re haul my drive and send it back to me ?

Hey Bro great video I bought this from ali express and thought I was buying from kinhank maybe I did maybe I didn't. I come with some experience with emulation and already have LB premium licence I bought years ago. My main interest in this drive is console and arcade related I stopped using Kodi years ago and have no interest in playing the pc games. My goal with this drive was to hopefully delete the things I don't want to allow room to add games I do want. I also have sinden lightguns but I'm thinking it might be easier for me to run them on a completly seperate build I'm already kinda using. I got my drive yesterday and couldn't seem to install "NetFx20p1_x64" when I click on it nothing happened. I fired the drive up and scrolled through some games using my keyboard I didn't try to play a game as I'm not sure how to set up a controller thought instructions would come with it. I have more things I want to say and ask but this is getting way to long so I'll ask one thing would you be keen to do some tutorials on getting this running better. I knew this would be needed but I don't want to break the drive playing around untill I know more cheers.

I just successfully upgraded the version... It was my mistake. I guess I was distracted by work. I made a mistake... I think I put it in a different folder haha...

I had the 12tb Hyperspin drive, but I sent it back and exchanged it for the 5 in 1 12tb. Im waiting for it now.

The launchbox updater on the 5 in 1 gives the option to update retroarch in the manage emulator section is it ok to do it from there? Excellent stuff as always from you.

Firstly, well done on the videos, I find them great, especially after buying this drive 👍🏻 I’ve a few questions: 1. What display/TV do you use? I currently have my PC connected to my LG C9 55” TV but I find it much to big for the majority of games on this. The resolution on them isn’t great nowadays but being stretched out so much just makes them look terrible… 2. What controller do you use? I have a PS4 controller connected via a USB cable but I find most of the menus seem set to use an XBox controller. I find that I’m guessing buttons or simply when I launch a game I simply can’t start it, Start Button, X or O don’t do anything… I’m sure I’ve lots more but I’m currently watching your videos to update the software and emulators so that might fuel more…

Got myself a 12tb 5 in 1 for Xmas with a Blackview mini PC to run it... I'm well pleased with it & with the normal issues ( Gears of War 2 etc) my system plays most of the games & consoles no problem... BUT I have 1 PROBLEM! 😢😢 Can't get a 2nd player controller working for any frontend? BOTH controllers work fir menus, you can map them in the Retrobat/ Retroarch menu etc, but as soon as you start a game the 2nd player controller doesn't work at all?? I've heard this happens a bit and Kinhank themselves say to go into the emulator programs and map the 2nd controller on the frontend/ emulator so it's recognised? Gutted, as wanted to play 2 players with my kids!!😢 I've got 2x EasySMX Xbox style controllers and they're both identical and they work on my old retro systems and sure it's something silly, when they're recognised one is mapped as Xbox controller whilst the other one is recognised as EasySMX controller? Been reading online, but you seem like the best guy to go to- & the 2nd controller defo works and will map etc on the game menus, it just won't work at all when a game starts on any frontend?? Please help me buddy, sure you'll be able to do a video and put it right in 5 minutes, after following your other videos! Thanks! Danny 🙏

In RetroBat, as long as the Emulators are still in development, you can simply delete (or rename) the emulator folder and RetroBat will prompt at next launch to download the latest version. Or go through and update emulators manually in RetroBat and Launchbox folders.
