Ive just bought a handheld salt pipe and have literally just tried it for the 1st time and yes, it has already helped decongest my breathing. I loaded the pipe with himalayan rock salt crystals and then used an ordinary pen to grinde the crystals into powder before inhaling and it works.

I've had sarcoidosis for 7 years now. I'm 45 and it seems to be neurosarcoidosis now. I've been deteriorating and fed prednisone. My doctor hasn't been doing the right steps I feel. My life has been diminishing for the past three years of this. I have 6 kids and can't keep a job. Disability has denied me and I'm fighting them my life spirals down. Went from a 210lbs health athletic hard working man to a disabled 315lbs. Can hardly breath and I keep getting passed around from doctor to doctor. My whole entire body hurts, joints, lungs, eyes, chest pains so many to list. I don't see an end to this until dirt is being poured me.

Quecertin and chelation therapy, Steroids are toxic rubbish and those of us with inflammatory conditions are toxic or reacting to toxins and chemicals. Steroids are rubbish. Take Shark liver oil, use lugols Iodine on lump, fresh aloe very leaves on erythema Nodosum and get a live blood analysis and comprehensive heavy metal hair analysis and do chelation therapy accordingly.

Hi if you see this can you advise,ive had pneumonia and have taken 2 types of antibiotics, what my problem is I still have a bad cough and rattling and crackling as I breathe ,ive been told it will take time for my recovery ive been off work 2 weeks so far,I've no fever and my appetite is back,yes I'm not full energy ,I'm just worried if this cough is bad or just the process and I need to be patient and let it run it's course

I've been using Seretide and Ventolin for over 20 years. Recently my doctor suggested I try Trelegy Ellipta, a three drug combo inhaler. For a few days it seemed like a miracle drug; a big improvement in my breathing. Then the side-effects kicked in and I had to discontinue it, reluctantly. The side effects were very severe e.g. my resting heart rate would go from 70 to 120. Looking online it seems this happens to maybe about 25% of people.

Can I drink water afterwards?

The measure on the inhaler won’t come down even after several attempts of inhaling symbicort. So I’m not sure if I have inhaled the dosage or not. It’s my third symbicort and it’s doing exactly the same. When I shake it I can hear that medicine is still in there. How do I find out if i got enough dosage?

My father died at 38 years of age , lung cancer. I was 3 years old and have no memory of him and now I'm 71 years old and still mourn my loss.

I just had this test done in a clear box and kept coughing a lot and push out enough air out. Is it normal for the doctor to push air into your lungs thru the tube while you're inhaling? Thanks for the video it explains a lot.

The old type of inhaler was far better, it was obvious when you had correctly taken a dose as you could feel it. Plus, the counter went down with every single dose! If it ain't broke... Jeez. You do realise that when you redesign something, you're supposed to improve it, yes? Not make it worse!!! With this one, how the hell do you know if you've correctly taken a dose??? None of this is aimed at the video of course, which should be emailed to all new patients... Many thanks.

Was prescribed Amoxicillin, did absolutely nothing. Augmentin and Prednisone were the saviours.

Mine is almost all red with a faint white strip on the window. When I shake it I hear a powder inside rattling. Does that mean it still has some inside?

All well and good, IF you can take a deep breath without coughing the way I do. Had to get a "spacer" to make it easier, which worked for me. Still, the side effects I experienced were hoarseness and irritated throat and coughing in spite of thorough rinsing, gargling and even brushing after use. And after 2 weeks of use, I've seen little to NO improvement in my breathing.
