Can you OVERDOSE on inhalers?

Hello. I was prescribed anoro and used for roughly 8 weeks. During this time my resting heart rate was 110-130. I’m hypertensive and have a dilated aortic root and take beta blockers, so even with use it did not control my HR. My symptoms resolved after 2 days off of anoro. I haven’t had an in-visit with my pulmonologist yet, but they switched me to serevent twice daily. Aren’t laba more likely than lama to affect heart rate? Can’t understand why the switch from one longer duration laba to a somewhat shorter acting. I don’t have copd as my pfts are above the threshold but ct chest confirms moderate centrilobular and paraseptal emphysema with parenchymal apical scarring

bro i wasn’t even trying to get high but i look too much and here’s what happened: i’m started shaking, i had a really fast heartbeat, and my eyes were watery. not fun, i give it a 3/10

Hello, can you please help me Dr. Stefan. I have som serious side effects of the inhaled cortico steroid. I get very fatigued and it effects me very negatively. When i stop taking them my asthma flares up. What can i do to live with the inhaled steroid and mitigate the side effects?

The instructions say that with a new inhaler ( ventolin) you have to prime it a few times before first use to make sure you are getting the medication not just the propellant and to shake it before every use. Recently the nurse at the specialist said since I sometimes go a week between ventolin uses that after four days of non use I should prime the ventolin again, before I use it, I feel this waste a lot of medication doing it this way but she says I probably don't get much medication out of it and that's why I don't feel its doing much. (Copd) I use a spacer. Is this true should it be primed after four days?

I have diagnosed with asthma on chest x ray basis I have presistant feverish feelings and Joints pain also with allergic symptoms like sneezing, itching and stuffy nose. And I am getting flu after every 10 days My doctor stop Foster inhaler and he said this is the cause of your flu and fever.. is this tru Dr? Is really foster inhaler cause flu and fever also joints pain?

hey doc, i have had allergic astma symptoms for the last four days and i have been overusing my ventoline inhaler. will my body build a resistance to salbutamol ?

No it will make you ill

I can only do one puff of my Albuterol or I get so shaky, I can’t stand. I follow with two puffs of Advair inhaler (both with a spacer). Nebulizer makes me way too shaky and dizzy. I do have an abnormal heart rhythm, also (PSVT). Thank you for your videos. My Sarcoidosis has never gone dormant. Every day is a struggle to just get out of bed.

I get a new inhaler (Ultibro), read the possible side effects - especially effecting the eyes, and then too scared to use it, so stick to Ventolin. I got COPD with working with Asbestos, the coal industry and working in a foundry. I get up in the mourning and my Oxygen levels are about 89% but after using Ventolin it goes up to 93%. Now I've got a post viral cough after having the Flu, so with having a Scrotal inguinal hernia that is aggravated by coughing, life is not so good. BTW, still waiting for surgery for the Hernia after six months of seeing a surgeon.
