After my wife passed my widow neighbor started dropping by. First she brought over a pastry she had made. Then I invited her over to watch a movie with me then I started taking her out to dinner. Guess what? She taught me that I really didnt have ED. All I needed was a hotter partner. !

My wife of 49 years passed in 2019. We have a big house, way too big for just me. It's filled with reminders - everything in it has a story. The first thing I did was rescue a dog, Then, he quickly rescued me. My son and family offered to sell their house and move in with me. I told them that if they could get a good price, I'd be OK with that (expecting a long process). They listed their house and it sold the same day. So, 3 months after losing my wife, I had a dog, my son, DIL, and my 3 and 5 year old grandsons move in. I became like Uncle Charlie on My Three Sons. I do all the cooking, shopping, take care of my own laundry, and all the outside work.. My DIL keeps the house clean, does their laundry, and works outside the home. My son works full-time. I feed and put the kids (they are now 8 & 10) put them on the bus in the morning, and meet them when they get home. I cook dinner, clean-up, then go to my room to think about my wife in Heaven. I still wear my wedding ring. Love never dies. Keep yourself busy and around other people. Being alone and lonely is hazardous to your health.

After that she doesn't care. She used my money for her vacations with her boyfriend. Its ok. Its gonna come around. Makes me wonder why her boyfriend doesnt help her? Im a young white deaf widow woman. Trying to be nice. Still grieving. ❤️ I dont want her money back. I want her to apologize. Try to be a better friend. She doesn't try. Her loss.

As a fellow health KZbinr, I really appreciate the insights shared in this video! It's fascinating how something as seemingly simple as urination habits can provide significant clues about our overall health, especially as we age. Research shows that changes in urinary patterns can be linked to various health issues, including hydration levels, prostate health in men, and even potential signs of diabetes. It's crucial for seniors to stay aware of these changes and consult healthcare professionals when necessary. Additionally, I love how you highlighted Mr. L's active lifestyle! Regular physical activity, a balanced diet, and staying socially engaged are all key factors in promoting longevity and quality of life. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! It’s a reminder for all of us to listen to our bodies and prioritize our health as we age. Keep up the great work, Mindful Insights! #HealthyAging #Longevity

As a fellow health KZbinr, I appreciate the valuable insights shared in your video. It's crucial to raise awareness about liver health, as many people overlook the signs until it's too late. I’d like to add that in addition to jaundice and unexplained fatigue, other subtle symptoms can also indicate liver issues, such as changes in appetite, unexplained weight loss, and even skin changes like spider veins. These signs can often be dismissed, but they are essential for early detection. Moreover, lifestyle factors play a significant role in liver health. Incorporating a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, staying hydrated, and engaging in regular physical activity can help support liver function. It's also important to limit exposure to toxins and be mindful of medications that can affect liver health. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! I believe that by sharing knowledge and encouraging proactive health measures, we can help our viewers lead healthier lives. Keep up the great work!

As a fellow health KZbinr, I appreciate the valuable insights shared in this video! It's crucial to address the misconceptions surrounding blood pressure standards for older adults, especially since many people may not realize the risks associated with elevated levels. In addition to what was discussed, I’d like to highlight the importance of regular monitoring and lifestyle modifications. Engaging in activities like regular physical exercise, maintaining a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and managing stress through mindfulness practices can significantly contribute to better heart health. Moreover, it’s essential to consider individual variations in health conditions and consult healthcare professionals for personalized advice. This approach not only empowers older adults to take charge of their health but also fosters a community of awareness and support. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! Looking forward to more insightful content from Mindful Insights.

As a fellow holistic health content creator, I truly appreciate the insights shared in your video, "The Four Reasons Why Some People Lack Friends and Familial Relationships." The exploration of how our understanding of time and relationships shapes our connections is particularly resonant. In holistic health, we often emphasize the importance of nurturing not just our physical well-being but also our emotional and social health. The idea that many relationships remain superficial due to a lack of depth in understanding and communication is a crucial point. It reminds us that fostering genuine connections requires vulnerability and the willingness to engage authentically with others. Additionally, your mention of "fair weather friends" highlights a common experience that many face. It’s essential to cultivate relationships with those who support us through both joys and challenges. This aligns with the holistic principle of surrounding ourselves with a supportive community that uplifts our spirit and well-being. I also resonate with the notion of solitude being a source of peace for some. While solitude can be healing, it’s vital to find a balance that allows for meaningful connections without losing oneself in isolation. Mindfulness practices can be a great tool for this, helping individuals to be present in their interactions and to appreciate the relationships they do have. Thank you for shedding light on these important aspects of human connection. Your insights contribute significantly to the conversation around mindfulness and emotional health. Keep up the great work!

As a fellow wellness creator, I appreciate the insights shared in this video! It’s crucial to recognize the importance of maintaining independence and personal fulfillment, especially in our later years. Research shows that older adults who engage in meaningful activities and maintain social connections outside of family tend to experience better mental and emotional well-being. While living with family can seem like a supportive option, it’s essential to establish boundaries and ensure that personal interests and self-care are prioritized. Perhaps exploring alternative living arrangements or fostering open communication about expectations can help create a more balanced dynamic. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! It’s a reminder for all of us to advocate for our own needs and well-being as we age

As a fellow health and wellness creator, I appreciate the important conversation you're initiating in this video. It's crucial to shed light on the challenges faced by the elderly, as their experiences often go unnoticed. The points you raised about abandonment and the impact of long-term illness resonate deeply. Research shows that social isolation can significantly affect mental and physical health in older adults, leading to increased rates of depression and anxiety. Additionally, the financial strain many elderly individuals face can exacerbate feelings of helplessness and shame, which is a critical issue that needs more awareness. I encourage viewers to consider how we can foster a more supportive environment for our aging population. Simple acts of kindness, regular check-ins, and community engagement can make a significant difference in their lives. Thank you for bringing this topic to the forefront-it's a vital step toward promoting mindfulness and compassion in our society!

The connection between late-night snacking and cardiovascular health is significant. Research indicates that consuming high-fat and high-sugar foods before bed can lead to increased blood pressure and a higher risk of heart disease. For instance, a study published in the *American Journal of Clinical Nutrition* found that late-night eating can disrupt metabolic processes, leading to weight gain and increased cardiovascular strain. It's essential for older adults to be mindful of their dietary choices, particularly in the evening. Incorporating lighter, nutrient-dense snacks, such as fruits or nuts, can be a healthier alternative. Additionally, maintaining a consistent eating schedule and avoiding heavy meals close to bedtime can promote better heart health and overall well-being. Thank you for bringing attention to this vital topic!

I respect your comments and wisdom but stop pushing for people to live to the age of 100years old...it is no picnic ,. Even if you family support .little life is better than no life, is bs if u suffering...i am 84 years old and i am traveling in Asia alone. I am cancer survivor and have medical challenges but i had it all and i lived a dream life ...i am ready for what comes next and i enough is enough...if you didn't enjoy your life when you were younger, that is your loss, you can never make it up... Old people are ticking bombs if they don't have things just the way they want them and they are no fun to be around ... Further more, some old people are a burden and they live a life of pain and pills. Life without quality is no life and to merely exist is meaningless... Enjoy your life to the fullest and let go when time comes knocking, says the voice of wisdom.

The one thing in life I fear the most is the loss of my beloved wife of 55 years. She's my Earth Angel, spouse, best friend, wife, and mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to our whole family. I pray to God daily, thanking Him for her beautiful, kind, generous, and loving presence in my life. I also pray that I do not survive her loss. I can see that this is probably me just being selfish but it's truly the way I feel. I try to make every day we have together just a little bit special. I say please and thankyou and I love you to her every single day. I also am a pretty decent cook and help prepare the meals for our family lunches and then do most of the cleanup afterwards. I'm also the handyman of the house, so handle whatever electrical, plumbing, automotive, and carpentry issues that arise. She's an incredible person and I want her to know that she is very special to me and to the rest of our family. I also do a lot of things for her that she finds kind, useful, and sometimes necessary. I open the "easy open" jars and bottles that she cannot due to some arthritis in her hands. I see this as a privilege to be able to help her when she needs something. I have provided for her financially, so that she won't be forced into a marriage that she doesn't really want when I am gone. Life is for the living, so I am OK with her remarrying as long as she keeps her finances separate from her new husband. I worked long and hard to provide this and I want it to go to her and then to our children and grand children. Estate documents have been drawn up for this. Most of all, I have cautioned her not to make any sudden decisions, particularly those involving money and relationships. When dealing with the death of a spouse, people sometimes make important decisions without thinking them or their ramifications through to their end results. Much of this can be avoided by taking the time to consider all of the factors involved, rather than rushing into them. Sorry to ramble on like this but it is in my nature to be thorough when talking about important matters.
