There is something so compelling about this rendition of Child of Innocence. I can't really put my finger on it, but it feels different than usual (in a good way). I like it a lot :)

Absolutely amazing, so emotionally played, by a true genius on guitar that gave everything in every performance, like each note was his last. Excellent performance from ALL 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Borne on Wings of Steel.... perhaps the most dynamic and beautiful rock song ever constructed. And so masterfully executed by this legendary original lineup. Rock Gods with a classical influence.... there will never be another Kansas.

I was running lights for Roadhouse when this was recorded. Dave was a good friend (and great guitarist) and I still think of him and Steve Tarr often. Those were great times and I have wonderful memories. I have a copy of the video and have shown it to numerous people thru the years and they are always impressed. - Dave Dallas

Ist ja echt ein hübscher Mann, der Sänger. Dazu die Höschen und das SportShirt!! Krasser Gegensatz zum Leadgitarristen. Voll der Modegeist der 80er. Musik ist okay, aber nicht meine. 😈

The word “Awesome”is much overused but in this case, truly appropriate. Absolutely Omer of the greatest bands ever at their peak of their career. Thanks to all the band members for their gifts to humanity. Your music will live on forever.

"Satellite" Lyrics by Ken Stacey Music by Mary Harris and Ken Stacey Looking down from your Satellite You don't see the suffering down there Everything looks shinning and bright Like a place you'd live without a care Spinning round on your Satellite Reaching out for all that you can take Building towers atop our lives This weight is almost at the point of break You're selling us for song If tears were dollars the tax man'd come along Never asking why we've cried so long He just keep coming on Living there on your Satellite Far above the ocean of our tears We look up and we see you smile It doesn't hide your underlying fear You're selling us for song If tears were dollars the tax man'd come along Never asking why we've cried so long He just keep coming on Until everything is gone And it's almost gone Breaking, taking all were making Across the great divide Wishing, hoping, they must be joking Aloft in their disguise Loving, holding, life's unfolding In spite of all the pain Giving, seeking, ease our grieving The story still remains.... Hey you there in your Satellite Don't you know that gravity won't quick When nothing's left here to break your fall The atmosphere won't save you from that bitch You're selling us for song If tears were dollars the tax man'd come along Never asking why we've cried so long He just keep coming on He just keep coming on And on! And on, and on, and on, and on Hey you there in your Satellite Way up there in your Satellite Hey you there in your Satellite Way up there in your Satellite Where you gonna go in your Satellite No where...

Met Phil and his parents in San Diego at a Bob's Bigboy before the show. Got his autograph on a Bob's take-out bag. After that show we sneaked backstage and met him again, along with Robbie who gave us backstage passes for their next show at the LA Forum. Such a cool band. Got a picture with Kerry and actually got to "play" his ARP synth as the roadies rolled it past us. All at age sixteen in 1977. What an incredible experience. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I was there! So glad to see this, as well as the comments from others who were also at the show. It remains to this day one of the best shows I've ever seen. The whole band was amazing, and a huge bonus for me as a Peter Green fan and disciple (like Gary himself was) was the chance to see him play Greeny on the encores. Thank you so much for posting this!
