I feel like a Neanderthal, I’ve been using all my strength pulling them apart until now!

Fanx! Scandalous - make one wrong measurement or cut and disposable plastic parts are not your friend.

My ENTIRE HOUSE is builder's beige with knockdown walls and ceilings. It's like living in a mud palace. I've been adding accent walls over the years, but it's so slow every time because the corners have always been such a nightmare. There's also an amazing amount of conflicting advice and online demonstrations of how to do it badly, lol...this is the first video I've seen that provides both an actual long-term solution AND an excellent-looking result! I think my next project is to go caulk every corner of every room in the house, LOL.

Where do you get the white insert? Or is it reusable?

Fantastic! I was using my version of this technique that did not include putting one side of the pliers outside the fitting. Genius!

My frogtape (delicate surface), pulled some of the caulking off, when I removed it. What am I doing wrong?

I found and watched your video AFTER I killed my hands removing the 1/2” tubing out of 8 elbows. You gave me the confidence to go ahead with my project. Thank you!

Omg bless your heart for this lol. Took me 30 minutes to get one off before watching it, and like 5 minutes to get the next 10.

Nice! I wasn't sure if you had to cut it off or if there was a way to pull it out. Saved me some time. Thanks.

What about Goof plugs? Can they be removed if you want water again from that spot?
@commontater86309 ай бұрын
Maybe, but winding up with a useable (non-leaking) hole is not guaranteed. I usually just punch a new hole.

Thank you, I used this method to paint an accent wall and it worked great! Takes some time but very easy for a beginner to get a straight edge on knockdown texture.

I guarantee it's 1000x faster than going back w/ a teeny tiny fine art brush and fixing every divot and dribble by hand!! Ask me how I know!! 🤣

Watching this in 2022, helped me out a lot. I tried painting with tape and even though i made sure to buy good tape a stick it really straight and well, paint seems to find its way to get under the tape. With this method, i learned to do it fast and easy and ONCE. haha - Thank you

I'm a pretty good freehand trimmer but I did freehand trim between black and white paint and it shows no mercy for mess ups. Not only will this look 100% better but be EASIER! Thank you!

Don't by Rainbird fitting. They are ripping customers off by not providing a simple release tool. I have been working on a simple release tool made from an aluminum soda can which is thin enough to slide around tube to release the tangs that hold the tube in place. No cutting required.

I’m gonna make this easy for everyone…..the color of the existing paint that you taped over(simply paint the lines with that same color if you have any left and it will seal the paint line). Then paint over the new paint line that sealed and covered the tape line with your new paint and you will have perfect line…..any questions?
