ritt has color formulas on their website for OD or spanish green for synthetic blend dyes they look good, they are closer to olive drab where the kelly/apple green seem closer to a tropic color variant. nice thing about ritt is ACU and ABU seem to retain nir capabilities after dye

Careful guys. Be ready to pull items out of the dye as soon as you like the color. I had some nice M60 pouches sit a little too long in dark brown rit dye and they look solid purple now.

@@GWOTalchem I assume it was because I was using the polyester/ synthetic formula but it happened really fast too. I did it on the stove at a simmer with maybe a 1/4 cup of salt and what I thought was about a palm full of dish soap. I have a DFLCS in ABU to do in a few months. If I somehow remember, I’ll post my formula for ranger green here and tell how it worked out.
