That jetstream display stand is really striking. So much more visual interest than a traditional vertical or horizontal stand. Can't recall ever seeing a celebrities face on a LEGO set before?

I think Piece By Piece is going to be good, it's not like Pharrell is going to make a bad movie. The issue is that people already have opinions about it before they even give it a chance. Also in the extra heads I saw Mei's head from the cancelled Overwatch 2 figure.

After accidently buying the whole collection today plus more (someone help😭) My personal thoughts are that all the figures are absolutely brilliant I regret getting two of the tiefling sorcerers because imo the male head just doesnt look good I do also regret not getting more of the rangers though lol apart from that I dont really have any other complaints and probably will be getting more 😭

I've been into fantasy books and movies for a long time, and of course I knew of Dungeons & Dragons. Sadly, I never got into D&D for some reason. Until Baldurs Gate 3 got released. That game got me diving into D&D content on youtube and I recently saw the movie. When I saw these minifigs being announced I knew I had to get them, and today I bought all 12 of them using a QR scanner. I love all of the designs even though I was still confused about some figurines which you kindly explained in this video! Thank you so much.

Glad you liked it. There’s so many ways to experience D&D that’s not the traditional way, and (thankfully) they are mostly good. I really enjoyed the movie, but I’ve tried playing BG3 twice now…hopefully my third try will actually take me to the end 😉

@@DarkAnimalStudios Yes, all but two that didn’t interest me (not into D&D - but appreciate the level of love Lego put into all the characters). I however want multiple of the Paladin as I love castle factions. I have a large Black Falcon army, Forrest Men, Goblin, and Red Falcons. With the armor piece, and printing of the Paladin, it is becoming my #1 :)

Now I want to play Baldur's Gate 3 in LEGO. I do agree with you on the Gith skin tone... some greener tones would have been nice. 😄 Those other characters are on point! The way Lady of Pain's dress printing patterns properly across the top and bottom is excellent. Thanks for the review Joe!🤩

I like the minifigures, but that sticker sheet is horrendous, and the platform is just ok. I think it’s lacking some creativity as far as the scene selection from the show. We already got most the ships, though, so I can’t blame them.

@@DarkAnimalStudios you're welcome man I really mean it. It's hard juggling the channel expenses and spending on LEGO at the same time I get it too. What camera are you using now? You have the lighting down which is more important than a better camera setup IMO!

Why do all the Overwatch figures have to be so expensive? I started making customs for all the characters to be cheaper, and so I can have the characters designs from the second game.

It's a shame we didn't get more (or any in most people's case) for Overwatch 2, to this day, it's still fun to play and I would love to see characters from the second game like Rammatra, or even characters from the first game that didn't get figures like Ashe and Bob.

There’s definitely a lot of base to this diorama… I think I’m gonna pass on this one, especially with that instruction booklet 🥴. The shark and boat are cool though. 6:56 kinda looks like weasel from deadpool.

I remember having a tiny LEGO shark as a kid, so seeing this giant scale Bruce is crazy. The way Bruce splits in two is really clever for the diorama display stand. Definitely agree with you on the manuals. Someone needs to teach those page designs about "safe margins" 😅 Thanks for the great review Joe! 🎉

Quick correction, this is an IDEAS set and not an ICONS set like I keep saying. Sometimes I say things without thinking…even when there’s a script 😂 I guess it’s because this set is so ICONIC.
