The Cowsills are far from a novelty they are all multi instrumentalist and the first time I heard them sing live it sent chills up my spine . Love them!!

A lot of families were like this when when I was a kid.. my mom came from a family of 14 and they all played guitar and sang together us kids would sing for hours with mom , those were the days as the song goes.. ❤️❤️

The Cowsills were the real deal! Everyone was living their music and all the wholesomeness. Only much later we heard they were all so abused. It was a terrible time when no one wanted to get involved. I hope they had the best times of their lives in the family music! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I saw Susie in a more recent vid. She is amazing!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Only just heard of the Cowsills about 2 years ago and 64 years old. Why this family of talented musicians/singers were not more popular is a crying shame. Great songs that deserved more recognition. Glad I stumbled across them and their music. Wish things had gone much better for the family as a whole. 👌👏🥇👍

From this post Billy Cowsill clip, it is clear that this band was just a shell of itself. Nobody wanted to see Barbara singing that sentimental stuff. Blame the sudden demise on the Dad who underappreciated Billy and threw him out as a power grab.

A lot of people don't know this, but the original name of the band was "The Cowpies." But for obvious reasons, it was later changed to The Cowsills. True story...

The lead singer on this performance was Barry Cowsill who in August of 2005 tragically died during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. His remains were not found until December of that year. R.I.P. to Barry and the other Cowsills who are no longer with us...........
