Just so that everyone sees this (and so that no one accuses me of not knowing how to spell), I did not put the watermark over the video as I am not affiliated with Revolver TV (plus I do know how to spell Christmas correctly). This is simply how I found the footage, and if I find it without the watermark, I will be sure to upload a new video 😁. For now, it’s nice to see this footage even if it has the rather annoying watermark. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Revolver TV posted so many wonderful unseen videos. And I thank him for it. Unfortunately he passed away ending any more videos we might have gotten. I’ll take the watermark.

@@stynger Aww I’m really sorry to hear about his passing. I unfortunately never got to meet him, but it’s amazing what kind of videos he found for us. People like to complain about the Revolver TV watermark being there, but I think it’s just nice that we get to see the footage and I think people should be grateful for that.

@@cowsills.enthusiast agree. His Cowsills rehearsal performance on Ed Sullivan was great. I’m not sure it’s available anymore. And of course the Hair performance on Kraft ( I think).

@@styngerThe “Hair” performance was on “The Wonderful World of Pizzazz”, but he did originally upload “Please Mr. Postman” which is now on my channel. However, my version of the video does not have the Revolver TV logo because someone else cropped it out and uploaded it that way, and when their video was deleted, I re-uploaded it because I happened to have it saved. Not sure where the original video with the Revolver TV logo is now since I started finding Cowsills videos after that original video was deleted, but it seems to be long gone. I just wonder how the Revolver TV guy managed to find all of the footage that he did.

@@cowsills.enthusiast I wonder how he found those as well. Some amazing stuff.

This video is still giving me a lot of joy , even out of season.. I still watch in the mornings before work from time to time..A great "find " by you for sure !

Very sweet! 😁 It’s a great video, although I’ve been hesitant to watch it again just because the holiday season is over LOL. I expect that the views on are going to be few for the next few months and then spike up when it’s Christmastime.

What a great find...too bad about the watermark, but I understand your warning post so my complaint is not directed towards you. My gosh, John is incredibly tall here, as tall as Paul maybe--talk about a growth spurt! The Cowsill's rendition of one of my favorite Christmas songs was beautifully done. Thanks for the post!

You are so very welcome! John grew so fast - he was always taller than Barry! I also love “Silver Bells”, and it was the most wonderful thing to find it being sung by such a wonderful band.

This is probably a silly question, but do Rhode Islanders have an accent in their speech, like Bostonians have a distinct accent? I hear Mrs. Cowsill pronounce many of her words differently when she sings (I really haven't heard her talking enough to notice if she speaks with an accent). In this video she distinctlly pronounces the word "laughing" with what I would describe as a British accent. Every once in a while I hear Barry with a bit of an accent, or am I just imagining it? Just curious...Thanks.

Not a silly question! Don’t worry about it. Yes, I would say that they do have an accent. In their TV special “A Family Thing”, you can hear their accents best. For example, you can hear Bob pronounce “idea” as “idear”. I’m not American so I wouldn’t know exactly how to describe their accent in reference to other state accents, but I also was a bit surprised to hear that they all had accents when I first got into the Cowsills!
