I bought a 2015 c63s edition 1 in August 2023. That’s my 2nd one! In 2020, I initially bought a 2017 C63s but sold it 1 year later as due to C*VID, it was parked all the time and I was working remote. My 2015 only had 14,800 miles. It was a no brainer and I HAD to lock it down. Right now it’s a lil over 18,000 miles and when I drive that thang, the biggest smiles on my face are irreplaceable And I live in Vegas. Cops here eyeball it like a hawk. It always feels like I’m in a spaceship or a bullet. It’s sad that they made this car into their latest “hybrid” version “clean air” stuff as it took the soul away from the c63s. So so so happy I snagged one. It’s also paid off! If you haven’t copped one yet people, do everything you can to cop it in the next 1-2 years. Between 2015-2020 models are practically the same except for the mods mostly on the interior though. I do find that between 2015-2018 versions, the sound is just a ted bit louder on these C63s’. Either way you can’t go wrong with this purchase. IMO this is the best sedan and bang for your buck $. Class, speed, business . And a BEAST!

@ thanks bro! I also researched that these amg motors going stage 2 is not recommended as it can blow. I know the M4 can if you do the crank hub as the s55 does have forged bottom end. How’s yours holding up?

I never heard of a c63 blowing up from a tune. Worst case is blowing a differential which is better than a crank hub. C63 over f82 all day

Not bad to be fair, my first service at the dealer was 1900. Find a local shop that mainly works on German cars. I found a local shop saving me thousands for a Service B and front brake job. Never going to dealer for service, only warranty work. I got that 1900 back from Mercedes long story they had my car for 3 months my wife made them refund us LOL. My 2020 only has 9600 miles I'm in a different situation than most people.

@kwanwells5088 probably need to find a new dealer, the Lexus dealer I usually visit charges $150 an hour for mechanical and only $99 an hour if it's an oil change, you can bring your car to any dealer really, doesn't need to be a Honda.

May sound like blasphemy to AMG loyalists, but get a used BMW with the S58 in it. BMW's reliability has reached its peak with the S58 and B58 platforms. Cheapest entry into the S58 is probably a used X3M. You can expect to keep it forever with little to no issues.

@@papiamg63 Get into one of the Audi 5-cylinder platforms. RS3/TT-RS. Great unique sound from both the engine and exhaust due to the unique firing order. Very high ceiling for tuning as well since it's essentially half a Lambo engine.

@@papiamg63 Just crawl under that thing and get it done, no shame in doing it yourself when dealerships are just there to screw you over. 280 for an oil change with bulk mobil 1 is a rip off. The brake flush is also usually just sucking out what's in the brake reservoir and filling it back up. 90% of the time they will never go bleed every caliper. You can do that yourself with a turkey baster.
