how to use the lower manual and the pedals if you only have one midi keyboard?

I have owned this particular one for years but because it has no pitch bend or modulation strips it has been disappointing to me. I've always wondered can the octave or track buttons be reassigned as pitch bend or modulation? I would even settle for twist knobs of channel 1 and 2 giving me that option 😳

Hey bro I have an E-drum kit and when I play it without ableton I can hit the cymbals for example and if I hit the cymball twice quick it plays two identical samples seperately (like a live drum) but if I do it in ableton drum rack after linking the kit, every time I hit the cymbal it starts the sample from the beggining and cuts the earlier one as soon as I hit to restart based on the new hit. I know its something to do with my set up in ableton most likely, I just dont know how to make it work if its even possible? Basically I want to hit the cymbal twice without the second hit canceling out the first hits sample? Hope I explained myself well enough thanks man

update process is completely stupid. Mine 06 freezed after 1st step and didnt recognize USB sticked into expansion. I never saw such faulty process, exchangin usb ports is such stupid idea that I couldnt imagine how many other users have bricked boards. 1.01 firmware is garbage and you cannot simply update for latest 1.05. Answer is: oscillators maybe similar (prophet is slightly brighter though), but filter is totally different. SSM2044 and Steiner/Ladder are totally different cups of tea.

For live, I’d like to save layered or split keyboard assignments with multiple sounds. Looks like SampleTank has ‘Song’ mode, but only for IK sounds. Any suggestions?

Unless you have a big ass room, don’t even bother, this sub doesn’t perform well in rooms smaller than 20x20

you can't pull certain sounds out right? there is one that has cool chords but then some pluck think on an upbeat , i wish i could separate those elements out

Nice vid 👍 But… Well, what about being able to create things while playing instead of menu diving for minutes if not hours?… I want to unlock the potential while playing and not while checking on the manual or KZbin videos on how to do things. And yes it’s a powerful tool (I bought one) but the console needs a complete revamp. Suggestions: Get rid of the knobs. Bring sliders. Bring a decent screen instead of that keyhole “mini me” shit sitting there. Reduce the times a user has to click a button or turn a knob to access something or control parameters AND that doesn’t mean adding a touchscreen. Seriously ! …this is the 21st century. Has ASM heard of Design Thinking or UX? Would that kick the price up? Maybe but then they would create a legendary synth that would sell like warm bread 🥖 . Right now I feel there is a Ferrari engine but with 🐎 reins instead of a steering wheel 🛞 … and that kills expression and creativity.
