I want to use invisible aligners but I don't want to do this procedure. My question is, does it was this require for beign able to use the aligners or is a different issue? I have a class two deep bite with some crowding up top, I’m 17, almost 18 and I’m considering getting braces soon. Can I get jaw surgery to correct my bite so I don’t have to get extractions? Or do I have to get extractions for surgery? I just have a narrow upper palate with some high canines, I don’t very severe crowding.

I live in the uk and I’m a teen so I’m legible for free braces if I have a certain severity or something. I don’t know how they test if I can get them or not but I have an overbite (deep bite) to the point where my bottom teeth are almost fully covered when I smile with my teeth and also when I am biting down completely with my overbite my front teeth seem to have a 2-3 mm gap from the bottom teeth. Is that normal? I have some crowding and some slightly wonky angled teeth. Do you think my cause is severe enough to get braces?
