The space between the words ‘Aston’ and ‘Villa’ on the new badge should be centralised over the point down on the crest. It looks lopsided as it is and I can’t stop seeing it when I look at it.

Hold on, hospitality in R2, are they having a laugh? WTF is that all about, and trust me, it's far from all teenage lads in there. Once Terrace View stopped me getting into K4 when the tickets go on sale for members I started going to Lower North. Hatton and Heck just don't have a clue do they.

The commercial aspect of the club has just slipped onto the start of the ski jump slope, going downhill rapidly. They're on the verge of alienating the majority of fans. The absolute last thing the club needs is to become another tourist plastic fan club, let's be honest the atmosphere ain't exactly great now so god knows what it might be like when we get the half and half scarf brigade installed.

I'd really appreciate a sum-up now and then, clarifying what's going on. The interest bit was interest-ing ;-) e.g. Questions to be clarified a bit more are e.g. why the safety stand doesn't increase the number of spectators (I assume there are chairs in all stands, but perhaps they don't need to be so wide at the HE?!, as I assume most people will stand anyhow). Also, the increase of ST prices ... are any CL games included (yes, I can have a look on the homepage, but it would be interesting to get it clarified, as it would be a legit reason for a ticket price increase). And something about the FFP situation would be interesting to hear Max's view on. The badge ... would easily take the 1982 version back. Imagine if we'd win the CL with it ;-) .... I find it rather infuriating when you or any other prat says “prawn sandwich brigade”. Some people are fortunate enough to be able to have different experiences. You yourself have sat corporate and no doubt enjoyed your time in hospitality. Subtle language like that create an ‘us and them’ mentality. Do better.

Badge is subjective - so not everyone will be happy. Ever. And you can get a worse product generally trying to please everyone. I personally think all the variations of it actually look great, except the main version. The main version is just... fine, like it is OK, but it just baffles me that we wouldn't use the detailed versions, be it the gold or the yellow one, as our main badge. They look infinitely better than the plain yellow. I just really don't get it. I wish it could be explained. Because even the vast majority people who do not like the new badge are even aligned in the thinking that the other variations are better (if you're not one of these people, save it, irdc) Glad we didn't stick with the round one, very dull, very generic, and alongside the rest of the league, we did not really stand out in anyway. Still subjective of course, but it seemed most agreed that the vote we was given before was between 2 poor badges. And it resulted in most voting for what they thought was the lesser of two evils. Anyway, happy overall with new badges, and very happy badge debating will finally be over. As for consultation, it's not changed much from previous badge. It has our name. Lion. Year founded. The Star. It is largely the same. And we have had a shield shape in our history more than the round badge. Not a big fan of how things are being run off the pitch and I do agree that fans should be consulted on issues, and if badge change was significant, but I do side with Club/Heck on this, did these changes made really need further consultation from what is just a microscopic set of fans? Bare in mind, the look of the badge is subjective, and these fan groups will have THEIR OWN subjective views they will share and not necessarily views of everyone else.

My seat been taken away also, but Im in Holte. All year we been talking about how bad we feel for those guys opposite that are going to be moved from their seats, only to find my seat in Holte is now given to something else. Club denying moving holte enders, claim they just straightening the aisles, thats bollocks, my new view is shit.

Concerning the badge, I just think it's gone back to being corporate and bland. I grew up with the 70s / 80s roundel badge, but I thought last season's effort was a mess with the lion facing the wrong way. My personal favourite was the early 70s badge of just the lion and 'AV' underneath with no surround required. Nice and simple, no faff. I see that Arsenal's home shirt for next season has just their emblem with no nonsense, so why can't we do that sort of thing? Concerning Emery, I thought the thing he signed a couple of months ago was the club exercising the existing right to trigger an extension, to ward off Bayern Munich??? As this contract is a new shiny one. Concerning seating, as a non-season ticket holder, as long as I can still get in somewhere when I want to, I don't really care. Just being there is everything. The new badge is a lazy option in my opinion. It's too similar to the old badge and there isn't enough claret on it, plus I would have liked it to have included 'Prepared' too.

Great job as always. We need to call out Villa failing on the basics… no signal/wifi in the ground; takes forever to get drinks/food in the ground (contrast Stamford Bridge and Palace where pints lined up); food crap everywhere especially The Lower Grounds; and facilities for non prem VP games are crap.. the Birmingham Senior Cup Final against Racing Club Warwick where I was embarrassed that their fans came to the ‘big club stadium’ and food and drink service worse than at their place!
