The brand should be mirrored. If you burn in the cutting board with that brand the logo will be backwards.
@NoNeedForAUsername2 күн бұрын
Also the best place to brand a cutting board is centered on the back side unless it's only going to be used as a show piece. Leave the working face for the work. If it will be a show piece then bottom right corner marking the end of the workpiece like the end of a page in a book.

When i read your first comment. I ran out to the shop and tried it out. it worked out great and it was correct. You had me scared for a second. I might put it dead center of one side and the lower right on the other. So they can either display it or use. I hope someone there will like the symbolism of using wood from the post grounds. Hi I have a 2007gti. Do you have to drain the gas tank when you change the fuel pump? Changed the fuel pump and now when you connect the key it sprays gas from the quick connect so changed the quick connect from the high pressure line and that's not it either. Do you have to vent the tank in any way to relieve pressure or any clue as to what's going on?

Ok brother, I’m fighting the same exact issue. Recently changed bearings and seals on my ‘76 CJ-5 AMC 20 and the bearing lasted a month or two. Destroyed. Obviously, too much preload crushing the bearing. Soooo, what’s your follow-up? How has yours been with the race .020-.030 proud of the face?
@5LakesGarageАй бұрын
i am not sure if it was the preload or that it was a defect. I have had mixed responses on the cause. I have never seen one get do destroyed. i have put a few miles on it since I swapped it out this last time. I feel I need to pull it apart again to see how it is doing. If this one jacks up then maybe it was the preload.
@blackhawk7r221Ай бұрын
@@5LakesGarage At this point, my new bearing retainer looks like a bearing race itself. Nowhere close to the square profile it should have. When I assembled it less than 100 miles ago, freeplay felt ok. So now the question is, did you get more freeplay by resurfacing the shouldered collar that the axle race sits flush against, or did you add a shim to the backing plate? I got on some forum with an “expert” who stated that only the driver’s side uses shims, and the diff has a block that both axles ride against.
@5LakesGarage28 күн бұрын
Before i replaced them the first time. I went to youtube of course and watched multiple channels. as well as forum. I did not run across that the driver side needed shims. I would think it would depend on the axle. Each one is different. Close but different. As long as the preload checks out. in my case it was about .020. I will investigate more and if I need to, update the video on what I find.
@blackhawk7r22127 күн бұрын
@@5LakesGarage So here’s where I am currently. My aftermarket one-piece axles of unknown origin have worked for decades. They use taper roller bearings, not the captive one-piece bearings. I believe the Crown kit I bought had a shouldered race spacer that was far too narrow. When I pull both axles, my races sit recessed into the axle housing flange about 1/16”. That incorrect replacement race spacer would explain why the same Timken bearing set would fail. So I ordered another Omix seal/spacer/bearing/retainer kit, and it’s race spacer is the correct width. So all that internet crap about the bearing needing to sit .020-.080 proud does not apply to my ‘76 CJ-5.

Sorry for the really late response. Day job and family getting in the way at times. I would check the grounds. I know it is a common response but when it is cold everything gets tighter and when it is hot the ground strap might be getting loose due to the fastener expanding. if that checks out then it might be the brushes in the starter.

they should be just about ready to go out of the box. But it does sound like it is a bit rich. Good video. Might wanna also inform watchers that the cable that you use is RG-6. Back after my house fire I told my step dad I wanted to use the most up to date cabling and being a phone service repair man I thought he'd know. Instead, he got RG-59 instead of RG-6 and RG-59 was obsolete. I ran all that RG-59 inside the walls before I put sheetrock on and turned to find out that cable was not the most up to date and then I had to fish all that RG-6 through the walls with sheetrock already installed. Just keep in mind things change and get updated all the time. So make sure and do your homework before you install anything and make sure you have the proper cabling for your installation.
@5LakesGarage2 ай бұрын
good point on the cable type. I love this platform that we can share information in both directions. I am not the one to know it all. :) Sorry to hear about all of the rg-59 in the walls. I would assume that all of the wires are connected and you set the setting over on the parking setup on the camera. Something i just thought of would be the parked power connection. I wonder if the computer shuts it off after a while. For example. if you leave your dome line on the computer will turn it off after a while. I will try to check that this weekend. I might have to update the video with a different power source. if i do, you will see it on the channel.

Easiest way is go to Lowe’s grab a filter and strap it to the intake side of a fan. And it will passively collect dust. Then take it outside and clean the filter off with a compressor. And invest in a shop vac for the big projects. My grandpa had big shop vac and runs tubes to all his machines and wood turning bench
