It was a good showcase, but there's something wrong with marketing campaign Your burger and pizza billboards had been there for the whole game since you placed them, which should have only lasted for 2 rounds. You may try removing one burger from billboard once it's advertised instead of waiting for cleaning phase

My interpretation of the rules is that the monster in Tokyo only leaves Tokyo when it chooses and after suffering hits from the other player- another player cannot force it out to take Tokyo for themselves.

@@MajorLeto Lovecraftian games are great! I'm a big fan of Mansions of Madness, Arkham Horror: The Card Game & 3rd Edition and that whole genre. The story telling is awesome and the narrative really drags you in. Dunwich Legacy is a campaign expansion. We did all 8 scenarios as a campaign recently on the channel if you are interested in seeing it. We had a great time with it.

This one is officially called "The Thing - The Boardgame". There is another game called Outpost 31 and I believe that there is another "The Thing" boardgame that was released a good many years ago too, so I guess you are thinking of that one. Hope you enjoyed the video anyway. Cheers!

At 8:15 you bought beer from a merchant but it had to go through the other players network. I understood this was not allowed. Can anyone confirm?

Hi John. You can use any player's network to get access to beer, whether it is from a merchant or from another player's brewery. If it is your own beer, you can use it from anywhere, just like iron. Hope this helps!

Hi there. The Collector says that "if you have 2, 3, 4 or 5+ different types of loot tokens in your ship, gain 1, 3, 5 or 10 doubloons." Glai has 3 different loot tokens in her ship so she takes 3 doubloons for this. Cheers!

The board game is a bit different to the video game, though it is nice to see Shepard, Wrex, Tali, Garrus and Liara! The board game feels a bit more arcade to me than the video game, but we enjoyed playing it and painting the minis too! Thanks as always for your support!

The old tactic cards make combat such a slog and overly complicated. The expansion is so critical for combat.

@@Burn66665 Hi there. Well, we did have fun playing this game with 2 players. However, it is certainly better with more players. I would say the sweet spot is 4-player. So I would not buy this game if I was only going to be playing with 2 players. My (Pat) favourite game of all time is probably Arkham Horror LCG because I like story-driven games. Mansions of Madness would be up there too. For games that are not story-driven I would say it is between Agricola and Brass Birmingham. Glai's favourite board game is Terraforming Mars.

Hello. Thanks a lot for watching our video. Normally the reward for 3rd place is only possible in a 4-player game. However, in this case there is a tie for second place, and in that case nobody gets 2nd and both players take the reward for 3rd place. Hope you enjoyed the video!

@@AllAboardBoardgames Yeah, you might be right. I thought in a 3 player game (or 2 players plus 1 bot) it is not possible to get the 3rd reward. However I checked, and the 3rd reward is possible in a 3 player game but only in when there is a tie for 2nd place, makes sense thanks

@@sanchi2315 No problem! When 2 players tie for a position then neither get the rewards for that position and the next place is awarded to both of them, so though normally 3rd place is not awarded in a 2 player game this is the exception.

We have not tried that expansion! Tiny Epic Galaxies is one of the best of the series, so we'd definitely like to try that one out.

Loving the series... I've played it through with four players once, and am playing it again (after long enough that I've forgotten everything) with four... what I'm enjoying about your series is seeing how the dynamic is different with only two players. I utterly disagree, however, with a decision you made. Faded figures don't count as cubes, so your unfunded event shouldn't have been usable on yellows.

We thought at the time that Faded Figures should be treated as Cubes, but I think that the wording of the card specifically said "Cubes" to differentiate them from the Faded.
