I think the hate comes from the nature of « viewing » doomsday. It’s inherently a pretty complex deck. But compared to other decks the info you need to keep track of during the thinking aspect is large. If you’ve never played the deck you can easily be lost in the most important part of the game-the choice of pile. Most importantly you have nothing to look at. The board is usually mostly irrelevant if there is no clock or hate piece, and your hand could be empty when you go off. So it’s not visual at all which is very bothersome for some PS: I personally don’t mind Justin playing this deck at all. He seems to understand it well and he’s good at explaining things (like with most of his vids). I will say I am guilty of sometimes not paying attention enough or becoming too tired from thinking about the plays in doomsday vids that I don’t finish them. So I understand the sentiment they are particular.

I love watching these Doomsday videos. iAmActuallyLvl1 is obviously comfortable and good with this deck so watching him pilot is always a treat. The one downside is Doomsday is a real "thinking man's deck" and he tends to spend like 80% of his time arguing with chat. That's the way Twitch is but it can make all the great lines and learning opportunities a bit hard to find amongst the tenth argument with a random chatter with an opinion.

Yeah MODO is not the easiest thing to watch. I often watch it on my phone during lunch/coffee breaks and have learned cards through their arts to know what's going on. Not a perfect experience, but it works. It does look good on my 32" monitor fwiw.

You can’t double equip the same creature with Greaves if you only have Nadu, which is very common here
