My childhood on one 7 inch vinyl... Absolutely stonking

I don't know if this was influenced by Remain In Light, Talking Heads, and Eno or not... There was world music out there doing polyrhythms etc. that they could have heard... This however outdoes Remain In Light, IMO. It's a cracking masterful track, such a sonically high information piece. People didn't realize how intellectual, arty and competitive Sylvian was. And that he started out writing pop fun rock... This is a badass pastiche of all his influences, as if to let TH etc. know, he'd touched on those grounds first... And, with the best band in the UK at the time.
