Memories of The Goldmine Canvey Island, 1982. I still have my 12" single in mint condition. When I play this at gigs now, people always ask me where can they buy this. Basically it is rare. If you like this, you might like Jungle Kitten by Manfredo Fest which came out about the same time on Bluebird Records. Both Kabbala and Manfredo Fest were purchased in Groove Records, Greek Street, Soho, London, which was one of only a handful of shops which catered for us jazz funk and soul people.

Yes Ian! I concur! Big tune from back in the day and also have the 12..... I used to work at Bluebird Records too, after 85 tho and the Manfredo Fest is much along the same line as is another from the label 'Francine McGee 'Delirium' which I kind of prefer. Good times and memories of both Robbie V and The Goldmine come to mind, as well Caister Jazz Room!
