Great video, Gentlemen. I think a stronger approach would have been to make F4 Marvels first ever, actual drama with super-hero elements planted in the first and second act, and paying off only in the third act. The genre itself would position the Reed and Sue as the father and mother of the MCU. Ex: Example: Reed and Sue at a massive family dinner scene w/ great grand parents, parents, grand kids running around, and Sue being talked over by a gaggle of family wives who ask her when they’re going to add to the family / hard cut to a tearful Sue in the foreground touching the bars of a crib in an unlit living room at night with Reed closing the bedroom door in resignation in the background. Jonny drinking himself under the table surrounded by his crew of wild, womanizing Naval academy buddies. Show Ben walking out the boxing gym with tape still on his knuckles right past someone getting mugged in the alleyway. Basically, tease a story of transformation that says that this odd group will become a tight-knit family because they will tragically lose everything they had throughout the movie’s plot, and overcome their issues together.

The last few movies have sucked. They should have just let this series die. I have no interest in seeing this. Make sure when you get Jeff on "The Hot Mic" you ask him about this trailer. I can imagine what he will say about it. Ha Ha

The falling of the “When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth” banner behind the T-Rex bones in the museum going back to the end of the first movie to the swimming T-Rex chase from the book. The jaws vibes, the temple of Raiders of the Lost Ark and even that hybrid reject looking like a rancor/xenomorph thing. Hell, we could even see our actual human/dino hybrid that was talked about in JP3.

It’s really interesting, we saw Sue, Ben, and Johnny's powers but not Reed's. It also seems like Sue might be the leader of the team or the movie, which I'm completely OK with. She's definitely the emotional core of the team. But the trailer was fantastic even if it didn't have any big pop moments to me. Maybe Galactus. I didn't think we would see him. I will say I wasn't expecting to see The Thing's rock form so clearly. But he looked right out of a Kirby drawing. If I had one quibble, I thought his voice would be deeper and gravelly. But it just sounds like Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Eh it’s a teaser so I’ll give em a pass since it’s just giving us the aesthetic and vibe. I’m hoping the proper trailer gives us a bit more as far as that weird looking dino we caught glimpses of and what’s going on with the samples they need.

I agree with your remarks about Scarlett. I do wish she had a more badass persona in this, but I hope when I see the film that'll be resolved. Her line delivery was pretty flat and uninspiring for a film like this. I'm really curious about your statement regarding Jonathan Bailey because I saw nothing in this trailer that would make me feel that way. But I suppose we all have our prejudices; I can't watch Tom Cruise or The Rock in a film without seeing the actor in the role. Even when those actors try to do something different, I still see their 'acting' than their characters. Jonathan Bailey's resume is very diverse for being as short as it is. I buy him in any character he portrays which I can't do with Tom or The Rock. It's interesting to me how people's prejudices color the way they view the same product.

Yes they are on the island again but I think the Jurassic movies have always been better when they were just on the island. When they took it off the island is when the budget blew up and it became spectacle. I did want a more ominous, dark and horrifying trailer but I think for their brand this trailer will get the normal people excited and hopefully we will get those horrifying elements and moments in the movie itself.

Having done basic training in SC, Scarlett looks unrealistically good for being in the jungle for any period of time.

"EPIC" is a great and perfect word! This doesn't seem epic - and seems very copy & paste. If it wasn't for scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali I probably wouldn't be going to see it, or have even clicked on the trailer.

I’m only watching for Jonny Bailey! Dominion was awful and I had no interest watching any more, but I love Bailey as an actor, so I’m in.

Fair enough, after watching your full video..I do get super hyped by their trailers, the same way I do for Transformers btw. I enjoy them all and don’t expect Oscar-level material. They are always fun on the big screen for that they are and I buy every Blu Ray…I am looking forward to it because I do like Gareth Edwards.

Does anyone else feel like they should have pushed Fantastic Four back from Summer to Fall (November) ? Not that I want the movie pushed I just don't how well it's going to fare in such a busy summer season. I hope it does well. Superman will be tough competition. Same audiences they are fighting for. A lot of movie goers will be hard pressed to go to movies twice in the same month.
