I really liked the finale of Creature Commandos and it all worked. I don’t see how it didn’t make sense. Only the Frankenstein flashback episode didn’t work for me.

Nina dying is the reason The Bride killed the Princess. She was the one that brought them all together. The Bride revealing the plan made sense except how she would know about the spy specifically... However it's not the craziest plan in the world and it at least filled plot holes. The bride could have just simply said I saw you were with clayface on the monitor and I put it all together. I guess the full reveal was just to give us the full story. Overall love the season and the characters and now that we know who they are I hope we can get more into detailed stories than detailed backgrounds. To say it was anticlimactic though when we thought the princess killed Nina and was going to get away with it... Just for the bride the essentially save the world by avenging Nina was tense for me. I thought the princess storyline was going to continue and I'm glad it didn't

The bride knowing the spy made sense as she was the only one that we caught actually saw him at the prison and the spy is the same guard we see in the last episode that hands the Bride the phone. Presumably she put two and two together.

Neel takes Wim to the roof of the nearest school, and shows him the gun turret hidden there, and the 2 of them save the day. Although I really think somehow all 4 of the kids will be involved....

I actually think considering the episode length the Creatire Commandos payoff was handled pretty well. The Princess was not the girl. The Princess just played with him in ep 1 like the girl did so Weasel made the connection

As for Jod "executing" Brutus, bear in mind that Brutus had just told Jod that he was going to kill him after this, even if the treasure turns out to be real. What would you do in that situation? It's at least partly self-defense.

Michael for skeleton crew is right... The kids haven't become the heroes of this story at all yet. However I don't need them to be because I feel like Jod will ultimately be the hero of the story.

Also I think finale is 50 minutes. The fact that they are finally back home is a big deal and 50 minutes is enough time to wrap this story up 5 minutes on Jod backstory. Supervisor reveal... What ultimately happens to Jod now. Some little tie in to the greater universe

I'm with y'all on the last episode of Creature Commandos, kinda lacklustre. It did think of John and laughed though when the Weasel flashed back to the little girl when looking at the princess. I was team John I felt like they made the little girl look like the princess for a reason.

I’m few years behind in comics, but l recall Spider-Man and Punisher don’t get along. Punisher is my favorite character, but honestly what could he do against the Hulk? (And l own the Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe comic…but that’s a elseworlds like story.

The plan to need Clayface to be discovered in order for Waller to call off the kill order on the princess, but having Clayface apparently not be aware of it (he absolutely would've finished the job on Flagg if Frankenstein wasn't there) means that this plan relied on so much luck. That's a major problem - agree with Michael/Shannon on all their creature commandos points

Creature Commandos could’ve been so much greater but it’s too short of a run time to flush out the main story plot. 8 episodes 25 minutes should be the minimum for season 2.

Eps 3 & 4 of creature commandos really saved the show for me. 7/10, couldnt stand the bride, frankenstein, the princess or nina. Ninas backstory was dumb af too so many plot holes.

Love Skeleton Crew, the actors are great except for the dude who plays Wims dad. I get what he’s trying to do he’s just not hitting the mark for me. Creature commandos ended ok but yes it was pretty anti climactic. T’Challa recasting is so important because there just aren’t many characters like him on film. Black kings/princes leading prospering nations. The death of Chadwick left many in shock, apparently even Coogler and Feige didn’t know he was sick so I get why they didn’t recast for WF especially as it only had months before it was to go in production. It’s time now.

Ordinarily, I would immediately suspect that the executives cut down the season by one episode. But since James Gunn is the executive, I cant use that logic anymore, it was always just 7 episodes.

You think Michael would be a little understanding with people who have different beliefs that may not be popular with other people’s way of believing or living, considering he comes from a minority that has been persecuted over the years. It just feels odd that he would want to do the same to people that may not have the same exact belief that he does When it comes to politics or whatever it may be, but just shaming people making us feel dumb for who we voted for is just seems mean and just odd that it’s coming from someone who’s dealt with the same kind of shit just in a different way.

Equating a joke made in passing about a politician who is not you and should not represent you as a person and has no physical or legal incidence on your safety to centuries of systemic erasure, shaming and persecution, which took and still takes the forms of physical violence (conversion therapy, gay bashings, targeted terrorist attacks, death penalty in certain parts of the world) psychological violence and continued societal compromises - because the perception of who you are limits your access to housing, work, health care and basic safety - is so intellectually misinformed and/or dishonest it’s almost difficult to process. Not to mention the politician being joked about campaigned on a platform of further fragilizing minorities and cementing systemic injustices towards them. I am not even American and tend to refrain from intervening in your political debates, but this comparison is so mind bogglingly wild I sincerely invite you to widen your perspective
