Agreed. I am very happy with the device. I have 2x 32GB SK Hynix SODIMMs I've been meaning to install, but have not got around to it yet. (Chinese New Year and US family visiting us in Taiwan for the first time. Busy days running about and shooting videos.) I plan to install them before I start editing after CNY is over.

"Forward only" works, but I use the normal setting. I configured the grip resistance to [low to medium-low] and installed the STECS detent frame with the small V detent set to 50. It gives you a configurable barrier at 0 throttle but is easy enough to transition to reverse thrust when I need it, without overshooting or losing throttle precision.

Absolutely. The STECS standard is just a STECS base with a STEM attached to the front. For the UCM, you would separate the STEM from the front and attach as per your taste on the UCM.

Agreed. I don't mind the POV mode so much as it is not nearly as interpolated as the cutscenes. But the cutscenes are absolutely unwatchable. I intend to play cinematic for the time being until MachineGames (hopefully) comes out with a patch to render the scenes properly.

What is your music source? If you are using the onboard sound or a low-end / Realtek sound chip, then yes. The Sennheisers will sound incredible. But if you are using a mid to high end DAC to process your sound already, you won't get as much out of the headset, as the DAC is doing much of that work already. Either way, the Sennheiser is a great set and will improve your sound, but the result is more dramatic if you don't already have a great DAC in your setup.

@@Archeagus I'm currently using a sound blaster ae5 plus and a fiio k5 pro ess both connected to each other via optical audio The sound blaster card I'm currently using it to change the sound signature and the fiio k5 pro to increase the power of my current headset

@@RETRO-V9 If you need a strong neutral presence with decent highs and lows, the Sennheiser's are a compelling option, if not a bit expensive (at least, the last time I looked). But most people looking for raw performance will prefer the HD 600 or 650s intensity to the 660S2s. I actually prefer my Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X overall, but they use mini XLR connections and cause some fatigue after long gaming or mixing sessions. The Sennheiser's directly support balanced connections and are easier to find that long session comfortable fit. I will also note that I am using Misodiko custom ear pads with the Sennheiser's and those have gone a long way towards that long-term comfort I mentioned.

Ha, I forgot about this ... I manually landed the ship by overthrottling the autodock computer until I was just about to touch the ground and then cutting power. I was proudly defying the "slow down to auto land" message. I always prefer to dock, land or launch manually.

Agreed. But in its defense, EA Sports does not know how to reproduce BAS in its simulation. Without it, you cannot properly predict when A&M will crumble under pressure.
