I bought the thermo a few months ago. It has the old style prefilter tube (clear) and the ugly black lily pipes. I have searched for replacement clear pipes and cannot find them. I am in USA. Do you have any suggestions where I can order?
@FZAquascapeIdeas6 күн бұрын
Sad to hear that experience unfortunatly i'm from România and there aren't any lily available to buy separately either. I think the best you can do is to search for neo acrylic lily pipes but they cost about 50 usd as well.

Thanks for info! Sounds nice, need to finds some of those as well and try them out. For now I just keep them in different tanks but i need a proper farm for riccardia...
@FZAquascapeIdeas20 күн бұрын
Try to use as few cyanoacrylate as possible because it can burn the plant a little if used in excess. It's fish and plant safe so no worries! Try to find a gel one because is easier to work with if it isn't as fluid, you have more time to apply it... Fishing line or thread is better but takes time unfortunately. It needs co2, at least a DIY system, but don't overdose Flourish or Carbo cuz might make her mushy... Also need a good filtration, and a decent amount of light compared to other mosses. There aren't big differences if you use glue or thread but the one glued starts growing a little later, maybe due to initial burning... Also good method for other picky mosses like fissidens, and buce moss. Best of luck friends! 🔥Subscribe for updates 😉🔥 kzbin.info/door/srGibE11gZF3MGA1D8dnUA

I have no ideea but if you have very hot summers and no AC you will have some problems. If you portion a full tray in 6-8 smaller pots you can sell each one for like 10 usd/euro. But keep around will show you soon how to propagate some other plants in trays, maybe that will be helpful as well...

Hi I got a question, can I just buy 1 box of moss to start this project, and the moss will propagate as many times as i want, as long as I cut them into small pieces and replant them in new trays? Or will they stop propagate at a certain time and just die off and I have to buy new moss to restart again?
@FZAquascapeIdeasАй бұрын
You can start directly if you buy a box of moss but if it is in vitro (gel) you need to rinse it very well. After you fill up a tray i would recomend you to sink it in your tank if you delay too much and you try to spred it more and more it tends to turn black and ugly. Stil viable but not pleasent looking...
