I AM WONDERING HOW YOU GOT GROUND SO BLACK AND LOOSE YOU CAN DIG IT WITH YOUR HANDS ???
@TheSacredGardener3 ай бұрын
This harvest spot is within a friend's garden, soil that's been nurtured for 40 years, so yes, unusually easy digging. they planted it many years ago as an ornamental, and keep it controlled through mulching and cutting it back, which works for him. Some say these methods will actually cause spread.

Thank you for sharing! I am doing much the same to suppress grass and slow release nutrients. Some additional ideas I'm trying with hope are 1) charring the outside of the logs and then laying them in my vermi-compost pile to charge prior to placing under the tree, and 2) planting comfrey in the little gaps between the logs for nitrogen fixing and chop and drop mulch.

Absolutely brilliant idea, and an incredible recovery.

I'm 25 and have been deeply struggling with the realization that all is not well. I grew up in a city isolated by the fear of my parents from people and the internet. The more I question why things are the way they are, the more I see. Everything I was taught to be right and true is not. I have been searching for a different way of being. I'm thankful that I've found this video.

Many times I just want to detach, so badly I want to run and just be with her, but I read the old stories and I know I can never really detach if I want to be of service. I feel some comfort in thinking my ancestors are helping orchestrate, it make sit easier for me to surrender. Miigwetch!

The mirror of spiritual realms in the ecology is such a powerful statement. Rebuilding all our relationships especially to food. I have so many questions about food and day to living to bring your vision in Sacred Gardener to fruition. I believe in that vision and I want to remember how to make it so!

I have never understood pick up your medicine more than I am beginning to feel now. Your teachings always keep me centered and reminded of the path that is worth walking. It is heavy work, but knowing I am not alone in trying to remember is a deep comfort. I pine for an elder as you speak but will hold the hope inside. Miigwetch

Just curious and no offence, but are you high when you film these videos? You look so mellow so I had to ask! Could it just be that you have a nature high in life? I feel high when i wander into the forest without any need for any substances.

@@TheSacredGardener Yeah, I feel like that sometimes too. The world is moving too fast in so many ways. No wonder stress, anxiety and various mental illnesses are on the rise in the developed world in comparison to the 3rd world!
