I've got a Hero 9 that asks to set date and time all the time. Original battery and I usually charge it via USB while it uploads my footage. My Hero 11 works like it's supposed to.

But i also saw from another youtube video that, that by leaving a charged battery in the camera can cause the battery to swell up to where it wont fit into the camera anymore if you can even take it out. is that true? it seems like its something i have to deal with is to update the date, really no one uses the camera everyday. i really appreciate the heads up.

I just bought a Scan Smart from Target yesterday. No tags included. We agreed on a $71 price found online. This might have been an older model. No carabiner in front, lots of pockets. There is a cable in the back compartment with a pocket for a uSB connector to plug into a power bank. I cant find the other end! Help!
