This is so tedious to get a vector image with many layers. Also you pay for the adobe subscription. On top of all this you now have your file saved 3 times over. Working method just not efficient.

Hi, when I try to use a vector on a logo, two problems happen that didnt when I tried this techniqe previously - problem 1, when I complete the process the design becomes extremely muted in color. Problem two - the black portion of the logo has completely disappeared. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? Ai seems to think - “The issue you're encountering is likely due to the nature of vector graphics and how they're handled in different image editing software”…

What is command a and command c on windows? Like dude, there are dozens of comments asking for your help and everyone is being ignored. What is the point of the tutorial if people can't follow it. EDIT: I used ChatGPT to figure the copying of the channel into a layer. For anyone else who wants to try this folow this, it worked for me: To copy a channel into a layer in Photoshop on Windows, follow these steps: Open your image: Make sure the image you want to work with is open. View the Channels Panel: If the Channels panel is not visible, go to Window > Channels to bring it up. Select the desired channel: In the Channels panel, click on the channel you want to copy (e.g., Red, Green, Blue, or an Alpha channel). This will display the selected channel in grayscale. Copy the channel: Press Ctrl + A to select the entire channel. Press Ctrl + C to copy the channel. Go to the Layers Panel: Switch to the Layers panel by clicking on the tab or going to Window > Layers. Create a new layer: Click the New Layer button at the bottom of the Layers panel (or press Shift + Ctrl + N) to create a new empty layer. Paste the channel: With the new layer selected, press Ctrl + V to paste the channel into the new layer. Convert to normal layer view: If needed, go back to the Channels panel and click the RGB channel to return to the full-color view of your image. Now the channel you copied is pasted as an image in the new layer, and you can further edit it as needed.

You, by far have the best editable graphics on the net. 1. All graphic packs can easily be interchangeable with each other. 2. the fact you use LAYERS!!! is perfection, as that is how I create all my graphics. Layers and labeled. The worst is when you get an editable graphic, but its a zillion layers of disconnected shapes and colors. I think at this point, I have ever single graphic pack you have made! Thanks for this! More videos for sure!!

@chobits3525Ай бұрын
OK, I get it, you just need create your halftone from Photoshop's filter or his processor or what ever, make sure the part you want be transparent is *white*, then follow these step start from 1:39, and you'll get what you want

Hi, great video, so helpful! I have a couple questions, 1) I don't have an ipad yet I only use my PC so no procreate. What would be the process from sketch directly to illustrator? How might I need to adjust the image trace settings in AI if I'm going directly from my sketch? After image trace would I then open it up in Photoshop to do the blur and threshold, then back to illustrator? 2) What type of file should you save as when done with the outline, keeping the background transparent, PNG? 3) If I can't afford a MAC and still use my PC, could I still get an iPad and use procreate, so what I'm asking is would that be a messy compatibility issue taking images from procreate into adobe CC on my PC? Is it worth the investment or should I just use what I have? This is for a business I'm creating- primarily t-shirt graphics- using print on demand 4) Do you have a video on how to fill in some color to your graphics after this process is done? If not could you make one? Thanks to anyone that could help me out with these answers!
