Atheists don't think about death 😂 Literally became interested in religion cause I convinced myself I had cancer and needed something to take my mind off of disease and started thinking about how the world has changed plus the increasing amount of hate toward religious people. May not have had an interest in religion but also didn't have resentment. Now I can't get enough Bible talk 🥳 So far I'm still healthy, but now I'm actually looking forward to death. Not interested in another 40 years with these people 😬😂

Activities can be where you win. Literally, just a few years ago there was a local LGBTQIABGDUGUGSJGD group that was essentially dead and begging someone to take it over, then there was drama and now people can't get enough of these events cause they're trendy. It's like a clown show, people take their kids to get photos and appear edgy, virtue signal on social. If church groups did fun stuff and invited others, people might make friends and get involved. A lot of the cult speak these days is people talking about their "blah blah community" which is gibberish. They're just trying to appear like they're a part of something. Gay people don't gather unless they're guys attending an orgy or there is an audience to feel sexy in front of 😂

I think holding the line is a good idea when under attack so the situation doesn't escalate into a violent war, but the bizarre thing about Christians is they ought to be prepared to have courage and state their stance instead of just parroting feel good verses or shouting about hell. So many just want to virtue signal. "I'm the good guy" 🤡 Religion aims to create a healthy society. They want freedom from consequences. Certain people say "you're being oppressed." and now we've got people to pretending to be and violate the opposite sex. An Autogynephile or Pedos ('Minor Attracted Person') sexual desires ought not be societies highest priority 🤡 🤯

People don't respect eachother. I argue with people all of the time but we typically laugh together a few minutes later. Someone disagreeing with me doesn't injure my core, may make me curious or want to fight my position, but I think they realize I care about them regardless of their idiotic stance. Doesn't require anything other than respect.

THIS FOOL IS GOING TO SPLIT THE VOTE LIKE NADAR AND WE WILL GET TRUMP AND THE RNC. SAY GOOBYE TO SOCIAL SECURITY, HEALTHCARE,DEPARMENT OF EDUCATION, SNAP, SECTION 8, VOTERS RIGHTS. IF HE SAYS HE WANTS TO HELP THE POOR HE HAS A VERY STRANGE WAY OF SHOWING IT WHEN THE GOP GETS RID OF EVERYTHING TO HELP PEOPLE. EVEN BY A SUPER LONG SHOT HE WINS HE WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING HE SAYS DONE CAUSE THE GOP WILL BLOCK HIM AT EVERY TURN. HE'S ON A EGO TRIP THAT WILL HURT THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS, DON'T FALL FOR IT.

Americans and the world needs more of these exemplars. I really really enjoyed their conversation and as a black man filled with rage at the injustices of a system designed to continue to subjugate and oppress our people through the various institutions of our country, I find that my view of our situation have changed dramatically since I discovered Professor Cornel West, and this frank and open discussion brought tears to my eyes as it made me realise that the world can be a better place. We all just have to lift our voices and understand that even those we consider our enemies, if we look closely and hard enough, we may find some good. At the end of the day, underneath our skin, we have the same colour of red running through our veins. Thank you for your love and service to truth ❤️

Had to pause this video to say the biographical prelude concerning their friendship and the laughter brought me right to the happy tears. I recall conversations with my own dear friends, true friends in spirit, that sets my heart on fire now in memory as it did then when we contemplated and challenged one another on the forms of good and of the highest good of God. When I imagine what good times I will remember at my death, I will recall such moments and such relationships as among the most joyful. God be praised.

Great minds as Professor Dr. Cornell West and Professor Dr. P. George, keeps us to think and ask questions. To be able to agree to disagree, and still be friends, keeps one laughing, but Truth seekers , to be wrong, inspires me, even myself. We grow.

There has to be a balance struck when it comes to the politicization of Catholic dogma especially in a free society. In order to not sound as if I am contradicting myself I will first say that it is super important that Catholics maintain an anti-abortion position especially for those that do not value life, use it as a secondary means of birth control, and/or just, in general, don't know exactly how horrific the procedure actually is. To stand and hold the line for this is a truly beautiful, loving thing. Now, with this said, Catholics also have no business pushing their position onto the greater social structure through a political channel. There are medical conditions and advancements within the arena of women's health that the Catholic Church is very obviously not keeping up on to ensure women are being protected and cared for across the entire spectrum of wellbeing for society as a whole. The lens Catholics are currently using is a pinpoint perspective that negates God's great mercy and presence in all demographics that exist. World affairs are not nice and tidy, they are messy, safety is an issue, health concerns are real, and advancements made in women's health are necessary. For a single perspective world view to try to hamper the greater good of all is contradictory to God's teaching. It's, not to be too harsh, but it's borderline sacrilege. Freedom of will, freedom within a free society, freedom to follow God and His path necessitates freedom. We have to protect that also. So, as a Catholic, I do not condone abortion but, too, I do not support the political stance against it because I understand that not everyone is Catholic and not everyone lives in a safe community. I understand that non-Catholic women may need to prevent themselves from becoming pregnant, they may need to take birth control to regulate their menses for various medical health issues, they may need to seek an human abortion because if they don't their uncle or father or husband my give them one in their garage with no anesthetic or medical training. Clitoridectomies performed by family members are real...just look for the KZbin videos of baby girls screaming while being held down by their uncles and cousins. Compassion must always come first.

So at around the 24:40 min mark, Cornel West comments about his own mother and Robert George's parents being real "gems of the spirit" and that explains their own goodness. So anyone watching this video who has not felt that kind of love from a parent/someone else or has no source of "good" in their life has just been made to feel worse.

lol, all grown-ups (adults) are responsible for THEIR OWN feelings, I'm an orphan and had to learn this, wasn't easy but thank goodness I did, I aspire to be like those inspirational people they refer to

@@larrynicholson9262 having an example of “good” in one’s youth says nothing of one’s own responsibilities as an adult. It’s seems more to recognize and appreciate the effect of a kind/caring/loving parent or role model in the development of a child. I’m happy to hear you made it through struggles most cannot begin to relate with and to go even further, hoping to bring inspiration to others, is in of itself inspirational. Thanks Larry.

Except my first job was a paper route at 12 and and being a young mother with 2 babies in diapers and managing a pizza restaurant at 19 ...omg he triggers me reminds me of my father (step) so much ahha....anyways...Fr. Mike Schmitz is right about the brokeness...being I have been in many relationships, almost got married but never went though it but rather spent a lot of time in courthouses for different reasons and advocating for other families and children, had a bunch of kids myself...I wish I would have met him before in my life ...he went to the church at 15....and I left home at 15 (went separate paths) ...but he makes me feel like we've known each other for a long long time despite never meeting in person officially lol ...ce la vie .
