Wow! An education in how to play CLEAN notes! Fast is flashy, but clean is truly impressive to me. 🙂

Idk that I’ve ever seen anyone on this planet one up Adam steffy on the mandolin but this guy might have did, maybe he’s a superstar idk but wow he can play lol
@robertshorthill6836 Жыл бұрын
The B part is just a stream of 8th notes played like arpegios, ending on the A note for the 2nd part, returning to the A part. It seems to be a popular tune and fairly easy to play. The Monroe version has a lot of disonant notes that make it either attractive or turns people away. There are several nice versions around. Take your pick.

This is outstanding. Very soulful and beautiful. Clay Jones gets it when it comes to Bluegrass music. It's not about speed, it's about the feeling of it.

I don't have a problem with the bass..Eli usually plays a doghouse(he even plays banjo!) He's an all-round great musician/vocal. Joe Dean does fantastic on banjo, & Josh rivals Jerry Douglas on the dobro!

I own a Collings MT2 nearly identical to the one Adam Steffey is playing here and I cherish it. It seems to have unlimited power. The more I dig in the louder and thicker it gets! It's great to have a $4000 mando that can hang with a $200,000 mando!

I actually prefer the tone of Adam's mandolin. Has a more crisp tone to it. Unless of course I'm just confusing that with Adams skill and ability to create such tone.
