This is outstanding. Very soulful and beautiful. Clay Jones gets it when it comes to Bluegrass music. It's not about speed, it's about the feeling of it.

OK, folks. . .I have to ask y'all something: why is this and the other Clay Jones: Mountain Tradition vids not receiving hundreds of views? I mean, this is Clay and most of the Mountain Heart crew who TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS. This vid alone is pure gold from Clay's guitar strings, and the fact that no one seems to be aware of the TREAT that Samwise has given you is just sick. So please. . .WATCH THEM AND PASS THE WORD ON!!

Check out an old video that's on youtube of Clay when he was a kid basically. Tony Rice invited him onstage and it was some jam damn picking by the both of them. Check it out. I forget the venue.

@vcp430 Yeah. I have to say Hes one of my favorite banjo players of all time just for his taste and TONE. Very inventive without over doing it.
