What does the overdrive sound like if using headphones?
@coolriffsguitar7 күн бұрын
I don't use headphones with the amp, so I can't answer that question. Sorry.

I've had one now around 5 years, it's excellent,I use it with my electro acoustics when playing in an acoustic duo to give that slight edge in the duo and it is great 😊

If you really want to hear the Fly roar, get the extension cabinet. I grabbed the set in Green when they launched and used it for travel. I finally sold it off when my travel was reduced to nothing. Also, they handle pedals pretty well, too.

@@coolriffsguitar I bought that SG8800S brand new in the Yamaha store in Ginza in 1983. It's been my forever guitar since. Most folks don't recognize (or know of) the amount of aerospace and military design and development that goes on here in little old Huntsville, AL.

It exists with built in rechargeable battery and also with a Bluetooth input so as to play backing or other tracks from a smartphone, tablet or computer without need for a cable

Great Advice Steve....I have the same trouble with my Knob...As me being an ex postman I'm sure somewhere in my house I've still got some bands but they aren't elastic...They are the rubber kind...If I find them I'll try them on my knob...I just hope they'll fit...If not I'll order some from Amazon...Do the elastic bands come in various sizes or are they just one standard size for any Knob?
@coolriffsguitar3 ай бұрын
I imagine you can get the bands in different sizes for various knob sizes, mine even fit the standard speed knob found on Gibson type guitars etc. The bands are quite robust and hold very well when pulling the knob. They are quite thick and not quite the same texture as a post office issue elastic band.

@gwhiz37082 жыл бұрын
Loud enough to blow the balls off a charging rhino at 60 paces 🦏

Sorry for the very late reply, but the answer is loud enough to play with a quiet ish drummer but a drummer who's hell bent on sonic attack will be to loud for the amp.

No reverb ? How come ?
@paulchoate1 Жыл бұрын
Blackstar released it with reverb and a 12” speaker later on. Doesn’t sound as good as the one without reverb as they changed the voicing (in my opinion). And the newest version (HT-5R Mkii) has reverb.
