I think, Generator if you wanna keep extending (link climb from hand, then dotscraper on field to continue link summoning). Gashiri to link climb (free spe summon), then effect to make Terahertz unaffected until next end phase

Gatchiri is better to search right now because it auto wins the game vs tenpai, but it is not always safe to do that. Searching for Generator can play through more hand traps. I usually only search for gatchiri when I have defenser + extender.

unironically, i am having so much more fun on mathmech this format compared to last format. I was playing centurion mostly last season but now ive been playing mathmech every game. I might even pick up one of these code talker mathmech decks because i have all the cards needed i just dont have the practice for it.

@@lordradiance2530 The 1 of hand traps are crossout targets mostly. Since the deck is going first most of the time Maxx is kinda useless and there isn't even anything good to draw off of it. I would rather play thrust.

Notes: - I played Packbit until M3. - Format already feels much better for the deck. The playing experience going 2nd in the previous format was one of the worst ever. Almost zero room to out skill the opponent. Either got floodgated or pseudo ftkd. I will take Tenpai over this any day. - Finally for the first time in a very long time coin flips do not matter as much.

Hey interesting deck, I like the Cyberse card choices you have in main deck. Is there something else I can use in endboard besides Accesscode talker? It's probably a newer player thing but feels weird using an OTK option in endboard

Either play protectcode instead of excode or on the final move just summon terahertz into the EMZ and keep heatsoul on the field.

I think that this version is better than the singularity version of code talker mathmech. The version that ends on 3 firewalls + a code talker + conflict is also good.

in the last game wouldn't it be smarter to send defenser to gy with mining? that way you can use circular to dump sigma, normal summon diameter. use diameter effect to bring back defenser and that way you can make an alembertian with a negate for the rest of the combo, while everything else goes the same from thereafter

You are in worse position with ash on mining doing it like that. Ash + veiler would end your turn. Ash + veiler still makes terahertz with defenser. I did make a mistake later in the combo and should have searched gatchiri on the earth codec search because I already had enough materials for the combo.

Notes: - Overall I am happy with the performance. I got to M3 smoothly even with a lot of crazy stuff happening. I got hit with super poly and droplet in a bunch of games, which is pretty unlucky. - Without Iblee there are more outs to the board now, but the turn 1 win rate is still very high. In some ways there are benefits because the board is actually stronger now on weaker hands because of being able to play desavewurm and packbit. - There is a lot of flexibility when building the deck. You can play it at a much lower card count if you want to. However it is more consistent at the higher card count and is able to play cards like sanctuary easier. Sanctuary is still an important card to be able to chain block defenser and is a free discard going first. Without firewall you can not bounce back hand traps to your hand so the free discard actually is helpful.

It is sad and there is no card that can replace Iblee, but there are still builds like code talker mathmech, the firewalls build, and I:P build that can still do well without Iblee.

Notes: - I was stuck in D1 for 4 hours because of coin flips and awful RNG. So much stun and Kashtira. Really toxic playing experience. So many unwinnable games going 2nd. - Gamma was one of the best performing hand traps. - I'm honestly looking forward to the new format with tenpai. The variance of the current format is really bad. Depending on coin flips and match-ups you can be stuck for hours or win 10+ in a row. - No de-ranks
