In order to play around nib you usually need to make an active decision to do so. For example starting your turn by searching for Iblee with mining/small world or searching mining/backdoor with phantom instead of conflict. This video shows some nib combos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX3LaYGjg9qcqNk

It is slightly better than mathmech into maxx. Code talker + conflict and even full combo still has a chance to win. Example at 7:12.
