Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I kzbin.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

Why would you install that unit so close to the wall that you can’t service it. Piss poor planning.

They honestly could have done a way better job. First off that AC unit on that rust ass platform is going to fail. I would have cleared the brush and left it on the ground. Would have no issues down the road. 2nd is with the fresh air pipe and exhaust pipe no screen or protective barrier. Have fun getting bugs, mice, snakes and any kind of small animal that can fit in that hole. I would have called them back to redo it correctly and not rush it.

fast forward to today and I would probably put a low profile unit. The unit is just too big for that spot.

What are you talking about? I keep reading the same comment on multiple videos. You’re using a gigantic unit in your sons bedroom? Is it 4 tons?

Overall dumb job. Heavy condenser wobbling on a bracket that is about to break. Connected lineset to condenser in such a cramp space. No sealing of plenum. In fact there was a test hole that was not covered. Overall an F job because you're supposed to be professionals. A C- job if this was DIY.

Had the same system installed 11 years ago. Now the filter shows all kinds of fault codes. It seems no one here in Edmonton knows how to diagnose them even the Trane dealers. One even suggested I replace the door to fix the problem. Price , 1200 bucks. Cost me 1400 for the whole system. Poor support from Trane.

I had a Bryant central air. When it went out my HVAC contractor talked me into an Amana system. He told me it had a lifetime warranty. About 8 years later the compressor when out. He told me no problem and brought me a brand new one, no charge. I called Amana which is made by Goodman air conditioner company here in Houston and ask them if they still give lifetime warranty on their units. They said anything with a 16 SEER rating and above. They said in the future if it goes out just let the HVAC company know and they will replace the unit FREE ! You can't beat a deal like that.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!

There are a lot of things that I would have done differently but I will restrict my comments to the condenser install. First, I would have secured that slab to the bracket and then the unit to the slab. Second, I would have rotated it 90 degrees so that it would be serviceable. It looks clean all tight to the wall but someday, you'll need to change a contactor or capacitor.

Come to think of it, they have a gas FAU for heating, why does that AC need to be mounted? They wouldn't be running it when it snows. Right?

Nice well done 👍.. that is exactly how HVAC jobs are done here in Tennessee......me and my partner usually do that kind of installation on an open space in about 5 to 6 hours from 8 am to 2pm. Then after 2pm we go to help the fucked up lazy crews that takes 8 to 9 hours to complete jobs.........
