Thank you for explanation Sir. I'm working with 840 mm cabinet. Walls of the cabinet = 16 mm Correct me if I'm wrong: Outside measurement 840 - 2(16)= Opening Width of the cabinet 808 mm Manufacture deduction 42 mm so inside of drawer = 766mm Now we are adding drawer side thicknesses 32 mm So now outside box width = 798 mm Right?

Thank you for the video. I’m trying to replace the slides on several drawers in the house. These are different from the ones in the video and others I’ve seen. The top part is flat and bends up at 90° at the end to be attached to the bottom of the drawer. The bottom part has like a rectangular slot that fits over the wooden runner that sits in the middle of each drawer. How do I go about finding the correct ones? Hope I’m making sense. ______| <-- side view. Wish I could post a pic for clarity

Cool video. I'm trying to turn a 12 ft (they call it 15ft because of the 'mom's attic') Uhaul into a work truck/mobile workstation for a remodeling business, and I want to put two 12" depth cabinets on the left side (one towards the rear of the vehicle, and one towards the front) spaced 31 inches apart, and both will have 24" fold out tables. The idea is to have the space in the middle and be able to swap out my Milwaukee sliding miter saw and my cordless table saw. I'm considering mounting these on the front of the cabinets, under the folding tables, then I could have a height adjustable shelf. What do you think, good idea? Bad?

how do i use a 170 degree hinge on a inset door with a face frame?
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 13 күн бұрын
Hello, You can do an overlay a couple of different ways. The easiest is to use a half-cranked hinge B071T6650 shown here: www.wwhardware.com/blum-170-clip-top-hinges-b071-and-b070 Combine it with plate B175H5030.21 shown here: www.wwhardware.com/b175h5030-21 It will work fine as long as your door and frame are the same thickness. If you would like additional solutions, please give us a call at 800-383-0130. -Woodworker's Hardware

I'm trying to use this fast cap pvc edge banding w all similar tools. I can't get it to cut clean edges, takes multiple passes and trimmer gets gummed up and panel has glue smeared on it a lot. Can't see what I'm doing wrong
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 21 күн бұрын
Hello, It is important for the substrate to be free of debris before the Fast Edge is applied. You will also want to ensure that you blades are sharp and free of any adhesive. Using a roller of some kind is also critical for a good bond. Lastly, you may want to let the adhesive cure overnight before attempting to trim the edges. This may also help you in trimming off only the excess banding. We’re hoping that this will be beneficial for you. If you do have further questions however, please give our wonderful customer service a call at 800-383-0130. -Woodworker's Hardware

Great video, thank you! I'm making a cabinet with 3 drawers fixed vertically - one above the other. This cabinet has no face frame or shelves to support the slides (they will be fixed to the sides)..... How should I work out the drawer side heights?
@cristopian
@cristopian 26 күн бұрын
I think I've worked it out. Internal height of cabinet minus (25mm x number of drawers = 75mm), divided by 3.
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 26 күн бұрын
Hello, Glad to hear you found a solution, how we recommend to find it is to take the overall opening height, divide by 3 and subtract one inch from the height of each box. For example, if the overall opening height were to be 15", each box can be a maximum of 4” high. At this height, the drawer fronts can be a total of 1” higher than the box. Assume that you have this split- 1/2” higher than the top of the drawer box and ½” below the bottom of the subfront and sides. Also make allowance for reveals. If you have further questions, or would like further clarification, please feel free to give a call to our wonderful customer service team at 800-383-0130. -Woodworker's Hardware

Hello, An 18mm drawer side thickness would bump you into the 3/4" slide (example B563F), and in doing so the inside width of the drawer box would be the opening minus 49mm. Hi Larry, Thank you for these super in depth videos! I am looking to install a pull out shelf and considering the movento over the tandem as it apparently can handle heavier weights (40kg instead of 30kg) I was wondering if you know whether it’s okay to install the movento runners but without the tip on push to open system, and without the shelf lock? Additionally, this shelf will be quite wide (around 1m 24mm birch ply) do you think that will be okay?! Sorry for all the questions - woodwork novice here and the Blum systems are incredibly confusing!
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 2 ай бұрын
Hello, Movento would be an excellent option for your shelf. It is a superior slide in weight capacity as well as anti-racking system. That said, you would still want to use a lateral stabilizer (BZS7M686MU GR) in conjunction with the Movento runners on a shelf 1m wide. If you need any assistance with your order, please give us a call. Our excellent customer service staff are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm central time. -Woodworker's Hardware

Larry, I see you used two fronts. One is visible and beautiful (dark brown) and other is hidden inside the drawer (part of the drawer box, yellow color). Do we really need two fronts or can we use only one (dark brown)? Check this at video time 7:04. Thanks for the explanation!
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 2 ай бұрын
Hello, It is common on overlay drawers and inset drawers for there to be a decorative drawer front attached to a four-sided drawer box (this would be the dark brown one you see). In the instance where the application is for roll-out drawers (example: drawers behind doors as in the case of a pantry), just the four-sided drawer box would be appropriate (the yellow front you see). If you have further questions please feel free to call our expert customer service team at 800-383-0130, they are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm central time. -Woodworker's Hardware

Larry, your video is straight forward and easy to understand! I have a question. I am installing FR771 for a pull out pantry and I am pretty new with making cabinetry. How much gap should I leave from the opening box and actual pull out box in width? Right now I have 4-3/4" opening width and I was thinking to make pull out box 4-1/2". Do you think this is too tight?
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 2 ай бұрын
Hello, there is no set gap defined when using these slides. Since there is a top guide, your pullout won’t wobble. You can use whatever distance you wish if you are pretty precise in your measurement and mounting. 7:30 I would say, the length must be 723 because of the rear rests. Never mentioned in any tutorial ist the fact, that these rear rests are different for left and right. I can't say why. And i don't know why these metal pins going into these two index holes are not even; on the left side it's just 4.5mm in width, on the right side 6mm for the recommended drill hole of that size. I suppose that the left hole should be drilled 4.5mm. Could you please explain? Cheers
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 2 ай бұрын
Hello, the location of these holes should be aligned the same for the left vs. the right. You’ll notice that the pin on the left slide is oriented vertically to allow left-right adjustment from the wheel on the right. Both holes should be done with a 6mm bit. If you have further questions pertaining to these slides, please reach out to our great customer service team at 800-383-0130, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm central time. - Woodworker's Hardware

Im searching for something that would work on a 58 in drawer. I wonder if that is just a standard piece of tubing that i could pick up at the hardware store ?
@WoodworkersHardware
@WoodworkersHardware 2 ай бұрын
Hello, the maximum opening that this device would cover is only 53-7/32. Your best bet with a drawer this wide is to go with a Movento slide, as it has a track system incorporated in the slide to help minimize racking. As for the tubing, The synchronization rod is made of a specially engineered aluminum and would not work for any other tubing. If you have further question, or are looking for further information, please call our wonderful customer service at 800-383-0130 Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm central time. -Woodworker's Hardware
