Incidentally, In greenfield airports since 2014, 12 new greenfield airports have been constructed or operationalized in India. Some of these airports include Mhaspa in Goa Navi Mumbai, Shirdi and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, Dabra (Gwalior) in Madhya Pradesh Kushinagar and Noida (Jewar) in Uttar Pradesh, Dholera and Hirasar in Gujarat. In International airport conversions since 2014, four airports have been declared as international airports: Tirupati, Vijayawada, Kushinagar, and Mopa. In sea ports since 2014, India's major ports have seen an 87% increase in capacity. This is due to the development of new terminals, expansion of existing terminals, and adoption of advanced cargo handling technologies. Some ports that have seen notable growth include Paradip Port and Kamarajar Port. And with Airport Infrastructure policy the Ministry of Civil Aviation formulated the Greenfield Airports Policy in 2008 to develop greenfield airports across the country.

Any program on Indian infrastructure boom will be incomplete, if initial mass infrastructure projects are not mentioned which were completed in Modi 1.0 first term - Millions of toilets were provided in cities, towns and in remote villages, making India open deification free (ODF), free homes were constructed to house a population of the size of Pakistan and more homes are being constructed to house 250 million more people. Every city has been connected to electricity grid, every railway track route has been electrified to run trains on electricity instead of diesel, and drinking water is being provided by tap to every home even in remote villages. Bank accounts have been provided with zero balance to every Indian, with digital identity connection, to transfer welfare funds directly to poor Indians’s bank accounts.Other infra projects come later, these are the basic infra foundations.

One more inaccuracy in the video is about Trump visit. He had actually visited Gujarat state and gave a speech in the largest stadium in the world in the city of Ahmedabad. In beautification efforts, some slum areas in the city (mostly inhabited in Muslim ghettos) were covered up at that time. This has nothing to do with Mumbai. For Mumbai slums, a multibillion dollars Dharavi Redevelopment Project has just been started and it is expected that Mumbai will be largely slum-free in the coming years.

@tonydsouza2780

An attempt has been made in the video to show that the infrastructure boom in India is being done by considering Mumbai as the centre. This is factually INCORRECT. In fact, Mumbai has been neglected in this development effort, as very few projects have been allocated to it. The national capital New Delhi is the centre of gigantic projects, starting from a large network of express ways, bullet trains, rapid rail transits, metros, new vista projects, Asia’s largest airport at Jewar near Delhi, etc. Besides that Delhi also has both Dedicated Freight Corridors - WDFC & EDFC, which are Multi-billion dollar projects each.
