Does hitting the walls slow you down or is it only the cars? I can't tell

Hitting the walls reduces your speed based on the angle you hit it. If you graze off of it you’ll keep a majority of your speed. The more head on the collision the more speed you lose (or just spin out losing 6 seconds). Cars always lose you a lot of speed but the bigger issue is, depending on where you hit them, accelerating back to top speed might be very difficult (or even worse hitting a car at the bottom of a hill, sometimes you won’t have enough speed to climb) Sometimes you might want to hit a car for a better line. In those situations immediately after hitting the car we boost so we only lost speed for however many frames it took us to hit the boost.

Thx something to watch wall grinding blox fruits for 8 hours. Also Rouge? 5:50:41 yeah i know the game mechanics ive 100% the game before. Only once which was about 3 weeks ago. Oh great once this ends i gotta find another long video.

Y'know I did Bounceless Fr skip for about a year and a half and I could never teach myself the bounce version weirdly enough. Yet, returning to the game, this one gets me it almost everytime. I unironically boot this video up before runs just to refresh myself and break the muscle memory from bounceless which is why traitor is a GOAT

How do you check the chaos levels before hatching them?

How do you know your Chao will have a high enough run stat? Like how do you avoid getting an E run Chao and having it kill your run?

Unlike the console versions, the PC version doesn't randomize the stats of the chao in the garden. It's just based off of the character that first enters. So if we enter the garden as sonic first there is the egg near the waterfall that will always give us the stats we need!

I know this is an old video, but if you're still having trouble menu-ing, you should use the dpad instead of the analog stick. Since the stick can register multiple selections with one movement depending on the speed of the flick, it can throw you off, but dpad menu selection is much tighter, more precise, and faster IMO in every menu of anything ever. Since it's digital selections, it works better to use a digital input. Also, this is ridiculously impressive, even just 100%ing the game in one sitting [or 100%ing it at all] is a crazy achievement, but doing it all super fast and keeping your cool and concentration for nearly 8 full hours?! That's really something dude, nice work.

I’m getting closer and closer to -30. Right now my best time for dark story is 31:36. I’m really hoping I’ll make the rankings someday. Watching all you guys in the community give me hope. Been playing this game since it came out when I was 8 years old. lol. I literally practice every day. I prefer the GC controller. Always

Not a stupid question at all! There's two one is a mod called visible killplanes by jellyfishswimmer and the other is using cheat engine to load the killplanes (Though this one is kind of too complex to explain through text). Hope that helps!

Each time you ran down to the goal in "City Escape", the truck got out of picture quicker on first four, but tried its drat hardest to keep up with you. But in the end, you outran that monster.

I wanted to do the a rank speed run and get the early mystic melody, but maybe thats tas only, since i couldnt find any tutorials

Not TAS only but surprisingly annoying and hardly saves any time. But if you want to know how to do it: pause hover over the collision next to the upgrade room, and move towards it. Ideally clip in from the top or the corner I believe. If you try clipping in from the wall you will instead get stuck and slide down to your death. I haven't done that strat in about 4 years so my mind is a little hazy on the specifics. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

In the mission street tutorial I talk about it since that's when hovering is introduced but the tldr is: You want the "Jump" button press and the "Hover" button press with as little possible frames separating them as you can. To do this we pause just after we jump and unpause just before we hover!
