There isn't a format called Digital Betacam SP. There is Betacam SP (analogue) and Digital Betacam (digital). :)

In the 1990s, I bought one of those small audiocasettes that used to go in answering machines. After I inserted it at home, I was astonished to hear the voice of my elderly downstairs neighbor, and no, I didn't tell her about it. Let me add that this was Washington Heights in NYC, which is to say a very densely populated neighborhood. What are the odds?

2:22 In retrospect many years later! we all now know why Pee-wee was making those sounds and giving that look towards Elvira! "Come to my playhouse and will ask the Mailman to join in, Ha! ha! 'Ha! ha! "

Ironically Joan way outdid Elvira. I mean what Joan kept doing to her face and the final end result of all that, how can Elvira hold a candle to that horror?

Correct me if I'm wrong, the J1 is the feature stripped J3. So it won't play Digital Betacam, only Betacam, Betacam SP and BetacamSX (the latter of which wasn't very popular at all). I'm not sure the J1 is worth much at all. The J3 and J30 decks are cheap enough and are much more capable. I have a J30 but the front panel is badly damaged and the capstan motor is faulty too, so unless I get a scrap machine (like a J1) which can provide some spares, then I can't go any further with it. I also use a J-H3, despite having HDCAM-SR recorders, because the J-H3 is a bit easier to set up and use.

Not everyone had one of those big bulky vhs camcorders in the 80's. So that home movie is pretty valuable to the family who took it.

Thats the feeling I got the few times I've found photos on the ground... when I was in high school I started a collection of photos of strangers that I had found on the ground, it felt like noir art but also, I couldn't bring myself to throw them away.

I remember about this show, I must not have watched it much as i remember very little about it. I probably remember a friend's "Curiosity shop" lunchbox more then the show itself. I would have been 8 when this show started, and I remember more about the show "Hot dog!" than this. I'm a little shocked how noisy and loud this show is, but likely it's because of the quality of the recording than the production. I remember the commercials well though!
